All reports, including from Turbo himself, suggesting he took a good step up in speed today. He was looking a little ginger and tentative on his leg earlier this week but it looks like he’s getting comfortable on it.
Grubauer recruited Burakovsky and now I cannot be convinced otherwise.
Regarding Hockey being an “Escape”, it’s easy to think of it that way because the sport itself is so alien to everyday life. People on frozen water with metal blades strapped to their feet batting at a compressed rubber cylinder trying to shoot it into a net past someone who looks like a breakdancing ninja robot.
But the truth is that a heightened reality is still reality. The game is infused, like it or not, with all the brilliance and malice and indifference and passion enfolded in humanity, and when we watch it we can discover things about our actual honest to goodness real life selves.
