  1. Feels like Antonio Brown of Bucs. Great skill but risky with all the drama.

  2. He doesn't appear to be taking a whole lot of responsibility for his screw-ups. He's always referencing other people. This is going to end as well as it did with every other team.

  3. The Oilers just continue to be the joke organization that they've been for a while now. It's too bad they are ruining Conor and Leon's career starts. Neither of them will get a cup until they are playing for different teams.

  4. Thank you Ken for not bowing down to the cancel culture fanatics, the same ones who say there is no diversity in this league, and bringing in the best player available right now for free. This is good hockey management….now go and prove the real Oiler fans right Evander. We got your back. Once an Oiler…..always an Oiler.

  5. well its a good thing the media in the 80s covering the Oilers was not like todays media.. the fans world wide would have hated the oilers at that time.we helped more men in the NHL then any other team by giving second chances. Evander is small news to some of the meanest baddest players in history. come on. Oiler 80s fans know this. dig some old Oilers up and see how mark messier dropped more NHL players with his mighty elbow than the league had players. lol. they were beasts. some came to Edmonton because of how Edmonton keep helping them stay out of jail. for, impaired driving some for causing death.some were just violent people. maybe private lives should stay private lives. the media today sounds alot like the media in the movie dont look up. i just hope for all the media listeners and journalists. what happens if the break up of johnny depp and his Amanda H/and how Disney took a side of Amanda is like kane and his wife and you the media journalists. what was Johnnys pay out for that. oh ya millions. dont be the Amanda. just dont.lol

  6. It can be interesting, he can still play and score goals, hope he fits into the locker room, I wish him good luck in the Oilers…

  7. Oilers are better, but it’s concerning that Evander doesn’t have a shred of ownership in his issues.

  8. Wow great interview by ecander. I didn't know he was so well spoken. He can take the post game podiums for mcdavid lol

  9. Evander Kane made a name for himself in the San Jose Sharks team, tafgai are not appreciated now, it seemed Hockey was created to becomea gentleman.I hope it's not anti-semitism or racism?Ugh! He willbe useful to the team, the contract is on the table!

  10. I ultimately chose the oilers because I get to play with the two best players in the world and sign a fatty next year!

  11. Maybe the Oilers brought him in to provide fodder for the local reporters and take heat off the big two. And he's top six. It's a can't-lose proposition for the Oilers.

  12. He would have been a good replacement for Hyman in Toronto with He, Mathews and Marner. But too much a risk in th dressing room chemistry.

  13. Can hardly wait to see what the weasel Ron Maclean says he is just a beautiful incredible talented young man that just needs another chance

  14. I believe in 5th chances! I think this is a good move by Kenny since Evander knows this is a redemption and the Oilers are willing to accept him (for 2.1 million). He'll definitely add some leadership, experience and grit to our lineup. Not to mention Evander likes the weather in Edmonton 🤣

  15. Guys, Evander recently gained full custody of his child, so maybe his estranged wife is the one with the issue creating false allegations.

  16. Can we contact your previous employer for a reference???….. ok then. In all seriousness not a matter of if he’s a good hockey player. He is a good hockey player. It’s just all the side distractions and issues that has been his downfall. This is a no brainer for Edmonton. You pick up a good player and a very reduced price to aid a team that could use the offense help. He should compliment players like Mcdavid and Leon really well. As a sharks fan though it’s really going to chap my ass if he pushes them over the top to success in the playoffs.

  17. He will have a big impact alright. You have a losing team and now you just brought cancer to the dressing room. Great job.

  18. Massive mistake! They don't have the leadership to handle losing & they certainly don't have the leadership to handle this tool.

  19. Does Ken Holland have a family? If so he must hate being home. He has been doing this forever. Soon he will have to retire so I hope he likes gardening or picking flowers. Maybe he can put his hockey Cards in order or get his vinyl records in order and maybe spend time in second hand stores looking for collectable treasures. Retirement just doesn’t come easy for some old blokes. I wish him luck and good health in his old age.

  20. As an avs fan I think we’re dumb for not bringing him in and making us by far the best team in the league. Give the man a chance

  21. Great role model! Hey kid's lie, cheat & disrespect your team mates, and gamble yourself into bankruptcy! You may get a multi million dollar contract on McDavids line! Is this the message to be putting out there for our youth?

  22. His value is real, but I don't see any change from Evander. I personally would have liked to hear him take more accountability for why he was moved, and how his actions moving forward wont be a repeat.
Genuinely hoping he has made improvements in his personal life and doesn't let this all affect his game

  23. This would have been a great opportunity to acknowledge his past and put it all to rest
