This is the only deal that made sense however it shows that the wings are two years away from a playoff spot and I wish we were past the point of signing old vets to then deal for picks at the deadline 😕

Great signing! Detroit is quietly building a great team and doing so without spending insane amounts of money. Getting into the playoffs next season is the target, and with some good moves by Stevie I think in a few years this team could be a contender. I'd like to see Nicklas Lidstrom come back and help the defense out as a defense coach.

As a Blues fan, I want to say that Detroit is getting a great player. One of the best shots in the league, one of the best shots I've seen in St. Louis since Brett Hull. I hope Perron and Detroit have a great season. He'll be missed in St. Louis.
