Mike Milbury never would’ve gotten a management job. God I wish we lived in that timeline.

Malice at the Palace…holy crap, that’s almost been twenty years as well, nvm.

The one thing that prevents this from happening again is that they’ve made glass so much higher that the players wouldn’t be able to climb over it (and vice versa for fans wanting a go at the players). On top of that, you just can’t do stuff like that anymore in today’s world. I remember seeing a clip from a Flames-Oilers game in the late 90s where an Oiler fan dumped a beer on the head coach and one of the Flames players tried to jump over after him, but the whole team held him back from doing so. I think even by then things had changed.

So this is before I was born. I thought this kind of hockey was crazy. I never chastised people who liked it. I preferred the late 90s – 2010 physicality of the game. If I had a nickle for every time I’ve been downvoted and chastised for comments I make about why physicality is important and part of the game… I reckon I’d have about tree fiddy

I’m sure one of the many betting sites would put their odds of the outcome on the screen

Raffi Torres would get a 100 game suspension.
