X has more chance than Guhle if it’s a spot for 7th D which might sit here and there (or even Schuneman)

Matheson – Barron
Guhle – Savard
Wideman – Harris
Scheneman the 7th since he gets exposed to waivers going down.
Guhle and Barron are above him, but they could gain a lot by playing top pairing minutes in Laval. Xhekaj on the other hand is already playing his 3rd pairing role perfectly and has the size to make the leap. I think with the roster we currently have we’re better off adding the size and letting our future top defensemen gain as much experience as they can in the A as #1 and #2
