Brett, just want to say at this down moment for you (and Oilers Nation) that this Avalanche fan thinks you're a great podcast/video host. You bring such enjoyable enthusiasm to your listeners/viewers (ok, after this game it's tough, but …) and I'm sure it's appreciated. And two final things: 1) Hey, hockey's a crazy sport and things could be very different in Edmonton, and 2) as my hockey-friend has had to say to me at many low points for the Avs over the years, "It's just hockey", right? As an aves fan give you so much props during the blues and preds series when those teams lost there locked on crew would rarely do a review. So all props to you

As a fan who spends so much time being entertained by the Oilers, it is insulting that the powers that be will not put the players in to make them successful in this series. It is so discouraging.
That 5 on 3 penalty kill was pretty good though.
They also had some great chances that never panned out.
There's definitely things to use for the next game.

Great show I like that even though you are a fan , you are truthful about what you see on the ice and not what you wanna see . I agree with you to me it looks like the Oilers coach is overwhelmed cause he thought all he had to do was play a little more defensively and everything would go his way,,, what he didn’t count on was the Avs playing much better and putting all the pressure on his defence men to make plays ,,,
I think you're being unfair to nurse on the 3rd goal… tough position for him… now if you wanted to blame the 2nd goal on him I could see it.
Avs scored 3 goals in 2 minutes,but dominated the last 2 periods. Oil actually won the 1st period,my opinion. But the reason I told you guys this was a 5 game series is the bluelines aren't remotely close. I still think Edmonton will win game 4,but get blown out in game 5. Oilers had a great run though,& have a bright future…IF YOU FIX YOUR BLUELINE,it's not good.
Bouchard has a bright future -not Byram like bright-but you can build off him. Nurse clearly isn't healthy,but even when he is-he s not a #1 dman. When healthy,if he's your #3-hes pretty good…if he's #2-hes ok…passable. But if he's #1-you have issues. He's not even in the same universe as Makar or Toewes.
