I've seen a concept from Carter Richard with the original shark fin patch, and an Icethetics source said the home kit could use black equipment. If the finished product reflects those changes, then I think this home & away set is a banger! Oh, and there may be a pattern inside the striping (perhaps the circuitry pattern from the stealth jersey). I know many fans (and lots of non-Sharks fans) want the originals, but I'd rather see something current-day for a majority of their games. This is a great union between their various eras.
I really hope the leak isn't the final product.

I know you saw the Icethetics video about the maybe Sharks rebrand would you do a video of maybe leak Golden Knights Reverse Retro 2.0 jersey that was also on the video as well.
They have to use black pants with the home jersey, can live with the helmet and gloves being teal, but not the pants as well.
💯 agree with you! Absolutely love the leaked uniforms! I think they can most definitely pull off the whole teal unis as an “alternate” look kinda like how Vegas had the hideous C3PO helmets with their home grey set as an alternate look. I honestly thought that the Sharks did all teal way back in the old days cause it just fits so much of the 90s aesthetic.
My prediction is when they deck out the RR 2.0, they’ll be wearing the teal pants as a test to see if fans & players like them or not.

What you didn't touch on is that looks like the original logo. Not the modified one they have been using for a long time.

As a sharks fan, I actually really like these, and the more I see them, the more I like them, my only thing I would change (other than black gear) is to update the primary logo, and use of their secondary logos that they introduced a couple years ago as their new primary logo. The shark is more menacing, more modern, and to me is an overall cleaner logo, and matches the style of rebrand and logo that the Barracuda and Sharks seem to be implementing over in Northern California

Needs black helmets and pants, way too much teal. Looks better without the orange, but just go back to their original jerseys. I never understood why teams change their jerseys so often. The classics like Detroit, Chicago, Toronto, Montreal etc never change. Or very minor change. Those 90's Sharks jersey are classic, BRING EM BACK!
I am most like to be minority on this as I think that this is the best Jersey that Shark put on. I like that, I like both home and away, But the away is better than home. I also like the paints that it is. There is to many black parts in the NHL. Like team that don't have black in there uniforms.
don't know if it was fan made there was another image with Black Pants instead of Teal pants . To me it's a nod to their Original look that would be mostly Teal & minus the Gray of the Original set .Yes it's a lot of Teal and i do like the look maybe down the road they change the pants & Gloves to Black . Flyers fan my home team love hockey and when teams Change logos , Colors , Jerseys even names . The Hurricanes made the Storm Flag Jersey the new home didn't see what Color the Pants & Gloves will be for the season . last season they had both Black & Red Pants & Gloves for both Jerseys for a couple games .
I think these new jerseys look sharp. I'm not a fan of their old jersey that has a different looking shark breaking the stick.
