Penalties and calls are game changing. To not show them on your highlights because you think it will give a negative image of your company ruins the point of a HIGHLIGHT video.
They need to stop pretending they're perfect and admit when things are called wrong. I don't think people would be as mad (coming from an avs fan) if they just admitted that they messed up and that their going to look into ways to improve the way games are called. Even if they don't do anything after that this whole cover my ears and drown out the complaints is childish.
For those of you that didn't watch the game, the Avs were handed a Too Many Men penalty 2 minutes into overtime when CO had 3 (almost 4, but his skates weren't on the ice yet) players on the ice and Nashville had 5. How anyone can try to defend that call is unfathomable to me.
That's after the last 5 minutes of regulation when there were 3+ missed calls on the Preds (OK, whatever, sometimes refs swallow their whistles) and the Avs get called for TMM (technically 6 on the ice, but not involved in the play) so they go on the kill for the last 2 minutes of the 3rd.
We're all hockey fans and we're used to some bad calls, even missed calls, but this one is so egregious that it makes you think someone had money riding on this game. It was a fun, back and forth game that ended up just leaving a bad taste in my mouth. GG Preds. NHL do better.
Love the nhl, and I love the predators even more. But it’s just flat out embarrassing to win like this. I’m sorry avs, you deserved a fair game. We both did. It’s also absurd how sports net was able to upload the game highlight before the NHL. like what? Smh I’m sorry Colorado. Until next time
I'm a die hard Avs fan. Terrible job by the refs, yes. NHL is probably below all other major sports for officiating quality, yes. That being said, our goalie is letting in some garbage. He's not picking up puck movement, he's slow to react, and frankly, I don't love his technique. Feels like Sakic is going to need to make another move or this will be another round 2 exit team.
As a Preds fan this game was so scuffed. They also need to change the stupid injury rule. Boroweicki was down and injured at the moment and they kept going. I don’t like that rule. On the other side how was that too many men? And for them to not show it is even dumber. Each team has 3 men for a line change from what I’d seen, but I don’t remember. Maybe if they would have shown it I would have known more about it

That could have been one of the best Hockey Games all Year. As an Ave's fan of course I'm upset with the call, but Nashville got robbed too. Nothing tarnishes the first 60 minutes of great hockey like that sh*t call in OT, both teams should be upset with the league right now. Also, show the call NHL, trying to hide it in the upload is worse than just owning it.
Great game stained by the worst call in the history of bad calls. The ref calls too many men in OT because he thinks his colleague is an Avs player lol
hilarious you forgot to put in the "worst call in officiating history" in this highlights. the refs called a too many men penalty when the avs had 3 guys on the ice leading to this overtime powerplay winner.
Avs got JOB’d on the phantom penalty call. What a joke. Avs had played the previous night, then had to travel to Nashville the next day. They didn’t look as sharp, but made it a game

The Ref was looking to catch Kadri, had it out for him, wanted to ruin his night by blaming the loss on him. In order for it to work, he had to time the whistle perfectly, but the Avs player didn't drop to the ice off the bench… Result, the ref blew too early. The angry racist's plan was foiled, result, one confused, confused, confused as s**t hockey world, by arguably one of the worst calls ever seen in the history of this sport.
OMG THIS GAME WAS AWESOME! Went to this game and it was so cool everyone was yelling when they won. The world record is 119 for the preds yelling thing and we got all the way to 108. Oh and all the avs fans think this isn't fair but the refs didn't stop the play when borowiecki got hurt and that what got avs to ot plus yall got that point for that anyway be happy you even got 1.
Penalties in OT should be reserved for extreme infractions only. Nobody wants to see a game decided by a bad call. As a Preds fan, the TMM call hollows all sense of victory over an elite Colorado team. Just let them play the game!
That OT pen was a pretty rough call dont know how they call the avs for 3 when the Preds had 5 i dont think there should’ve been a call at all but it was a good game other then that tbh
Not at all surprised to see the public relations channel for the league leave out the god awful Too Many Men On The Ice call in OT. "Integrity" is just a tag line it would appear.

Could have predicted NHL wouldn't include a game-winning controversial penalty call in the highlight.
