  1. Watch him suck in Anaheim and won’t get 4 mil next season

  2. For all the guys who sign long term deals, there's always that one guy who thinks he's better than he is, misjudges the market and signs the short term deal for big money with a team where he's not a good fit at all. Anson Carter is a good example of that. His numbers were inflated because of the Sedins, so rather than take a long term deal with a lower annual salary with the Canucks and understanding where his bread was buttered, he misjudged the market, and ended up with a 1 year deal with a bad Columbus team where he didn't fit and ended up fading into obscurity. Term matters in a lot of cases even more than AAV, and knowing where you're a fit. A one year deal isn't really "cashing in" compared to those players who can get those long term deals. Maybe you sacrifice a little on the AAV, but you're in a spot where you can have success and a longer career.

  3. Hey I’m happy to have klingberg on the ducks. We will hopefully get a great year and resign him. The ducks will re-sign him since we need an offensive d man. He wasn’t even the best dman in Dallas so he knew he wasn’t getting top dollar in Dallas.

  4. It would take me approximately 150 years to earn 7 million dollars. I think Klingberg is alright

  5. Enjoying the vids. Question: what are you saying at the end of your videos?

  6. My opinion. The Stars offer was based around 'teams' needs instead of player's. Stars should have offered instead, 6 yr x 7.25 (hold on you're laughing, just a sec), 4.5 in base salary the rest in signing bonuses, and the contract expires when Klingburg turns 35, in time for him to capture large dollar payouts for 35+ contract (sidenote for me for later, see Malkin's mistake – also Pittsburgh's – the use of Perf bonuses(see CF?) and personal contracts outside of CapHits!!!

  7. GMs around the league has seen a lot of these big Swedish defenders not aging well. Ie. Myers, OEL, Edler, etc.

  8. Kling didn’t burn himself lol, cap should raise, next year he’ll get paid

  9. He didn’t wanna play in Dallas anymore. Oh well. Who cares? He’s betting on himself, so I hope it works out for him. It’s not just about money.

  10. He overplayed his hands and may have missed that big opportunity to ride a fat contract well past his prime. If his decline continues (and I anticipate that it may, especially since he will be playing for the Ducks, which does not have a lot of players who can help him show up offensively in a big way), his next contract may fall well short both in terms of terms and annual salary as he has wanted.

  11. I disagree, Lego. All off-season, all the rumours were that he wanted a one year deal. He could have signed a 7 year deal. But instead, he signs a 1 year deal, and then possibly an 8 year extension. For a total of 9 years. He gets two more years of pay this way. 8 x 8 was his price to stay in Dallas. He obviously was ok taking less money to play elsewhere.

  12. Maybe he doesn't wanna come to Canada, but I'm sure the sens would have give him the same on a one year deal, and he'd play with Chabot or Sanderson, and would have had sooooo many more weapons in the forward group. He'd pile up more points and have a better chance at the big deal next year. Or even the wings/Sabres.

  13. As a stars fan I’m glad I’m actually stoked…don’t think he was worth it because of the decline

  14. Man am I glad he rejected that big deal with the Stars because he is a HORRIBLE defensive defenseman. I am so happy he is GONE!

And, quite honestly, he's not Fooking Bobby Orr on the offensive side of the puck.
