Those blues look nice with the home kit, but it will never not look weird to me. The non matching black gear just feels like Colorado in my opinion.

I actually liked the black, it helps balance out the colors. Plus black IS in the logo so they might as well change the puck color from black to blue on the logo since they took away all the black.
The pants on away should be burgundy
Home looks great with the blue pants. They need to change up the away jersey to make that work.
I'm thinking they are only doing it to match the retro reverse this year , and that the new Avs jersey will be the colors of the retro reverse
The blue pants and gloves with the white jerseys reminds me of beer league teams where everyone has different color uniforms except for the jersey.

they changed to worse , those blue pants/helmets/gloves look like dog shit I just hope they be ditched very , i mean very, very soon.
A lot of people in different comments are saying their dark uniforms aren't bad but the white uniforms look like the equipment manager forgot the pants and had to rush around and borrow some !
