#Sabres

  1. Good summary. Assuming they'd get draft picks back, will they have the depth to cover holes after the trades? Quinn and Peterka, for sure, would come up. Anyone else ready or serviceable?

  2. Two trades – Miller 50% retained and Craig Anderson to Edmonton for Cap dump Koskinen and their 2022 1st
Hagg, Bjork, 2022 4th and 2023 2nd to Seattle for Jamie Oleksiak

  3. Good video. Haag should have been included here. Any UFA could expect to be traded. I would also think that Asplund, Bryson and Olafsson could be traded as I don’t believe they are in the Sabres long term plans.

  4. Looking at what the Sabres have and need I wouldn't so much say they're going to sell this year. Granato and Adams clearly see they aren't far from what they want for the chance at the playoffs(going back look at their schedule and ask how many games change if it was a more solid goalie in net) so I think it will be more of conservative buying and selling. They have the cap to eat a contract or 2 that's expiring and still get a decent return.

Personally I forgot we still had Colin Miller. The young guys and Pysyk have been playing well. So I could see him gone for a pick or 2 if Adams plays his cards right. Anderson would depend on when UPL is back. For some reason they don't want to play Houser so it is a wait for UPL.

Though oddly enough I wouldn't mind them going and seeing what it would take since Aneheim doesn't seem to want to full send for the playoffs and they could try to take advantage of a desperate Winnepeg and Vancouver.

However I doubt he is friendly with Boston. Pretty sure that's a no go
