The Avs, known for their offence the entire season. The Bolts had 27 minuets and 32 seconds to tie the game up AND THEY COULD NOT DO IT. The Avs defense was so underrated. Turned out to be sleepers, THE BEST defense in the league! The Avs defense wont be underrated next year baby. They just signed their core players. What is the rest of the league going to do now? I'm watching and Barré Boulet grabbed Manson's stick hoping for a call. I'm not going for either but haven't heard 🤷 more over this. Refs could've called that and more but acted restrained. Avs were just better in my opinion!

Damn, I actually used to like TB and some of their players, but after watching them cry like a totally spoiled child over everything that they got away with the last 2 years, I'm done liking them… I mean, holy sh**, they simply couldn't handle losing the cup, as if they were owed it… From what I saw all season (even last season), Colorado was the best team in the league no questions! TB was not the best team the last 3 years, but peaked in the playoffs.
The Florida radio call is awful. And people accuse the Colorado home broadcasts of being homers.

if that was Kadri instead of Ma-goon, it would have been an automatic suspension with a 5 on 3 power play for the tampa crybabies. instead…..not even one penalty called where there were several blatant ones.
This gives me chills over six weeks later. Oh my gosh. It was so thrilling to see them win. The international ones were beautiful. My favorite was when the Altitude radio broadcasters were screaming with excitement. It's been a long journey, battling through the ugliest of seasons, to heartbreak in the playoffs, and now we are finally champions! Also, Good Stick, Lehky!
Bellemare caused that “penalty” all by himself holding on to the Colorado stick far too long and losing his balance. He created the 3-2 all by himself which resulted in the Cup winning goal against Tampa.
I know this was a big year in bandwagonning fans but it was most apparent for Tampa like omfg. They could apparently could do no wrong and were wronged at every turn. Not once did I hear commentators outside of Colorado give the Avs ANY credit for their success. It was hard to watch hockey this year with sound on because I just heard the announcers jerking off to everyone the Avs faced. Never once did they believe in them. It was always "Such and such team battled so much adversity and has this talent" like Colorado were a bunch of schmucks that didn't work their asses off to get where they were. Hell some COLORADANS were saying they were done 10 games into the regular season. So finally, FINALLY I am so glad the guys didn't give in to the bs they heard ALL YEAR LONG and lifted the cup. Well earned. Even if everyone else doesn't think so (looking at you East coast bootlicking commentators). To those who cheered alongside us, thank you. There's always next year.
