@Islanders de New York

1. We have arguably the best Goalie tandem in the league and we have a really solid blueline.
    We need to get the young guys scoring, hopefully Lambert can do it.

  2. The Lou era has one consistent stat, great D – no Offense. He has done NOTHING to address this. To think this trend just ends on its own is crazy. To think Romanov ends this trend is even crazier. The problem has been, and will continue to be, scoring goals.

  3. Great points! I try to hold to that going into this season with the new arena – 13 games on road to start season, the COVID issue and the fact that defense does inevitably wins champions in most sports. My issue is the islanders getting in the playoffs, especially with all the teams in the East that improved drastically. And sad story with Spencer, looking back at how he played and with what we know now maybe he had issues with CTE and concussions, who knows. Thanks for the video and love Locked on Islanders!!! Happy Labor Day.

  4. My biggest hope by far is that Lane is much better at helping the young prospects we do have to develop in real NHL players. Barrys quick yanks was killing their confidence.

  5. If the Isles don't have a deep playoff run this year, I predict lots of pain in our future. It will be rebuild time, with very few assets to rebuild with. Guys like Lee, Nelson, Pelech and Pulock will be shopped for prospects and picks. Our very short list of young players that are ready to step in will make the rebuild long….. and very painful. Would Barzal and Sorokin stick around any longer than they have to?
    Damn, I hope Lambert is a revelation as head coach.
