Signing a player and trading them immediately is a big no no in the NHL. Less players would want to come here as a result.
trade him for a 7th his a bum that's all his worth lol
1.07 points per game for JT in Vancouver thus far (not 1.2 points per game)
I thought the contract was signed? 7 years/56 million in exchange for no more JT Miller trade videos.
Would Trader Jim still trade Miller if the team sucked this season struggling to make the playoffs? Of course. I mean, duh. And Miller would expect to be traded in that scenario as well. And GMs hate agents. Who cares what an agent thinks? The goal is a cup, not making friends.
What are you on legs? The only way they trade him is if its clear that the Canucks are going to miss the playoffs at the trade deadline
You rly just want views huh
Yep, we can still trade him. New contract with no-trade clause only comes into effect next year.
click bait.
Bro please stop with the Miller rumours I can’t take anymore 😭
time to move on man
The odds of Miller going out there and having anywhere near 90 points a season again are slim to none if he hits 60 most of the years he plays in Vancouver after this extension it'll be worth it because of the type of person he is and the other things he brings off the ice but to expect him to hit anything over 60 points for the next 78 years would be absolutely ridiculous it's just not gonna happen if he gets anything over 60 points ever again it'll be amazing
Depends where the Canucks are at the trade deadline really. All these emotional nitwits in the comments aren't being realistic. If things go sideways, at this point Vancouver has 2 top tier centers that they can trade in Horvat and Miller. If the team isn't performing then they have a great opportunity to blow it up in a very deep draft.
There was lots of speculation Lou Lamoriello walked away when the Canucks wouldn't allow him to talk extension. Do you think Miller signs in Jersey for less than he took in Van?
If Jersey can't score but is near a playoff and Vancouver struggles, I could easily see the Canucks pulling the trigger.
The Canucks are not playing 3D chess here, they’re going for it whether the fans like it or not. Every move they made points to that. Also, taj is not a noteworthy source.
Yeah nope
enough with the JT trades man Holy hell
maybe make a video on line ups ,
Stop talking about Miller it's old
Jesus man lol
Stop the MADNESS!! JT's here to stay! 🤣
Are we not supposed to know what you say at the end?
if hes traded its later rhis year . if hughes can be a stud on right side and the D is good they should keep JT. next year get rid of Myers and get a better right side D. keep Miller unless its a killer deal back.
Works for Columbus’ contract schedule…
While the team can technically trade Miller this year if what is said from the report is true, trading him this year would have a terrible ripple effect for all future contract negotiations for the Canucks and how players perceive this management group. When the extension includes a no-trade clause for four years, even though the contract does not kick in til next year, I would think there is an assumption on Miller's camp that he is signed long-term with the Canucks, with five years of no movement guaranteed, and three on a modified no-trade clause. To exploit a loophole would be so low and other players will take notice – good luck ever attracting a priced free agent to come to Vancouver…
faaaaaaakofffff!
it's not out of the realm of possibility: remember when canucks picked up a longterm contract (that no other team would touch) from arizona coyotes, with 6 years remaining on an 8 year deal @ $8.25mill/per? & who was that player? OEL
No is taking on Miller at 8 years, given his age…no one! Think about it. If they wanted to move him 5 years at 8 mil, maybe makes it possible.
DREAM ON!!
🙄ridiculous🙄
I am dumber having listed to that.
sorry this is a stupid comment
clickbaitrocks99
This is a new low. Do you really want to just cover what others say? If they did trade JT then their word as an organization is done.
Nolan Arenado type beat.
