  1. This is starting look a like an Adam Fox situation where he got traded 2 times because he wanted to play home lol …

  2. As a Jackets fan I would 1st like to say I am sorry Jets fans, but it does make me smile that after the Petty Little Diva's 1st whine session in Columbus, that Columbus was able to turn him in Laine and Roslovic. Good job Jarmo. jets fans, I hope you get something good for him so he can become Montreal's problem

  3. MTL should just wait until he is ufa tho the question is would they even want him at that point cause dach might actually turn into great 2C and you have Suzuki plus they most likely gonna have top 5 pick to maybe get dvorsky or even beard if they're lucky so they have no place for him maybe if they move him or suzuki to wing now I really see why they picked slaf

  4. What If he eventually gets to Montreal and after first season he doesn't want to play there either…🤔

If reality isn't as sweet as dream…

  5. Pierre La Diva. In a hockey knowledgeable and lunch pail crusty Winnipeg, he may actually get booed.

  6. @legorocks99 greetings from austria. nice to see my hometown team (blackwings jerseys) winning in the background

  7. Dudes had to play for Columbus and Winnipeg his whole career i can get whining about wanting to play somewhere else 😂

  8. Does Montreal really want this player? I don't think they want to get that kind of player wjth the culture they are trying to build right now. He's not even that good…

  9. Hey guys, I don't know what I'm gonna eat tomorrow. Can we get the Jets to give me a year's contract too ?

    Smh…

  10. Whats funny is he technically never asked for a trade.. is agent just said mtl would be a team hed obv like to play for…. Technically hes right! Never asked for a trade😅😂

  11. It didn't get worse lol he's honest and just doesn't know what he'll want in that amount of time. I don't even know what I'm eating tonight. Give the guy a break.

  12. As a Jets fan I get Pierre Luc Dubois not wanting to play for us but it gives us no options if he says he’s just gonna go to Montreal in free agency so we gave up Laine for nothing

  13. PLD doesnt want to be rude. He wants out of Winnepeg and he wants to go to the Habs. He doesnt want to rub it in the face of fans. But you know he is out and doesnt want to be there. Stop trying to get PLD to bail the Jets out of the fact you ran Laine out of WNPG and Laine just signed a loner term deal with the Blue Jackets. If you dont like where you are with PLD, look in the mirror and ask yourself why you treated Laine so badly.

  14. Tell me you want a trade without telling me you want a trade.

PLD: My name is Pierre-Luc Dubois.
Every GM under the sun: I understand.

  15. Just an unfortunately reality for smaller cities in professional sports.
In larger US cities, you have anonymity, which is a huge plus. In the US, taxes are generally much lower, thus you get to keep more of your money. Sometimes it's just the climate… places like Winnipeg, Edmonton or St. Paul… aren't the most enjoyable regardless of season. Unless there's some connection to those places (eg. family, alta mater, etc), there's a reason UFA don't sign there unless they're being paid a boatload or have some specific reason (rebooting career, no other suitor, etc).

  16. I don’t believe Dubois asked for a trade but I am ready to believe he’d like to play for Mtl. Supposing that’s true, he is still under contract with Winnipeg and it’s not in his best interest to coast until he’s a free agent, because when he does become a UFA, he’ll be looking for a big payday no matter where he signs; so one would think Jets fans can at least expect some great hockey from PLD for another 2 years.

  17. C'mon Lego! The double standard is so real! Johnny Gaudreau screwed the Calgary flames recently by not telling them he was leaving sooner, PLD is being very professional and transparent.
Edit* In todays NHL transparency is key.

  18. PLD doesn't have to answer anything. Treat him like he's going to leave because he obviously will. there's nothing wrong with what he's doing. If he acted like he wanted to leave he'd get butchered in the press even more than he is. He doesn't owe anyone anything

  19. I appreciate PL for taking the time to give his thoughts on his new signings and addressing the rumors but I understand why so many reporters were asking him why he was avoiding a straight answer. I don't know if anyone coached PL before this interview but it was easy to answer to stop the rumors flying. All he had to say from the get go is, "My agent asked me if the Jets ever intended to trade you, where would you like to go? You can't always control that but as you saw with Petry, sometimes a team can accommodate your wishes. I said there are a ton of places I'd like to go. Of course Montreal came up. As a kid who grew up here, I'd love to play for the Habs one day. Do I only plan on playing for Montreal in 2 years? No. It all depends how things go here in Winnipeg and what else happens in my life. For now, I'm happy to be in Winnipeg and who knows, maybe next season I'll sign long term." Was that so hard? That alone covers all your bases. He did finally go into detail about any kids growing up in a city at one point dreams about it. But as we saw with St.Louis and Lecavalier, even though I'm sure they considered playing in Montreal, they chose to resign in Tampa.

I have to say, PL had good intentions about trying to calm the storm and I believe he was genuine when he attended the draft without any expectations of being traded. I totally believe he loves hockey and the Bell center was the place to be at the draft this year in Montreal. But his reluctance to give out a straight answer makes me believe even more now that he is playing it year by year because if the Habs still want him in 2 seasons, I think he wants to be available. He just didn't want to say it. And I don't blame him if that is what he has in mind.

  20. Did you see the video released by NHL network on Twitter that shows Columbus signing Gaudreau? Apparently it was Gudbranson who called them after his contract and said "my buddy, Gaudreau, wants to sign there too but he's worried that you haven't called him yet."
They had no plans to sign Gaudreau before that, they didn't think he was interested. It essentially took Gaudreau calling Gudbranson, who called Derek Dorsett, who called Rick Nash, in order for contact to be made.

  21. We will see a trade like Dovrak, picks a rookie and Jonathan D for him b4 the season starts

  22. I can't hate on him, all I know is what I see through the lense of media. I can say I'm glad he isn't on the Avs. While he is talented, drama seems to follow him.

  23. PLD will reluctantly end up in Boston. Mark my words. Once he realizes Montreal is out of the question, he will move to Boston as next option.

  24. No! or NON! i ll even say it as Nyet! Don t give this diva a second thot! He s bad JU JU! >>> worse than Mr Drouin

  25. Hey Lego… big fan here living in Poco (Habs fan born & raised in Montreal).
You’re channel is fantastic, thorough and very entertaining.
Just one thing.. OWN IT!! If people don’t like your content.. they can watch something else. You don’t have to explain the particular reason for choosing to create a specific video. If viewers think you’re being repetitive and don’t understand that it’s off season… screw them.
    GO HABS GO!

  26. He will be traded this season at the trade ,Or if the Jets actually do good this season, maybe he would stay ,I’m sure the Jets will trade him atleast while he’s worth something. If Chevy let’s him walk he’s a fricken idiot

  27. I think he just likes the drama. It's a long offseason and he's just bored and wants attention.

  28. I mean I don’t think there anything wrong with picking your work and living place . The problem lays if he acts like he did with that not motivated shift he showed he wanted out . You gotta give your best self to your employers until you but in your two weeks and your two weeks is up
