Great show, as always guys — Boucher is a gem. I don't think it's imperative that Dorino find a top-4 RD before camp. I trust him to be patient and find the right fit. I still think Chabot needs a 'Methot-type' of stabilizer, so perhaps some of the RDs popularly mentioned aren't that type. I look at it this way: if the Sens need to outscore their opposition to shelter their defence, then we now have an offensive juggernaut. Home games are going to be barn-burners!

Boucher is slowly winning over the fans who criticized him due to his 10th overall draft status without getting to know the player first. It helps having a pod like this to bring his vibes right to the fans
Boucher seems like a good kid, it's too bad he gets a lot of hate for an arbitrary factor (his draft position). Think he'll play a big role for us on a gritty third line in the future

I like to see Chychrun brought in has 3 or 4 yrs left on contract I for Zaitsev and a couple picks. If u have to give up your first rounder next yrs do a top 5 or 10 protection
Man I just like Tyler Boucher the more and more I hear from him and watch him. Obviously it still looks like a reach at 10 but this guy is gonna play and be such a good piece in our line up for so long. If the offensive numbers weren’t below a PPG in the OHL I think ppl would be much higher on him. If Trent and Pierre see the upside in his goal scoring I believe it’s there.
Agree with Pillsy, no rushing..build more from within and at trade deadline evaluate because it’s a whole new room!

I stopped your podcast at 3:39. Apparently you're under the impression the rebuild is over? I'm wondering if Toronto, Florida, Tampa, Boston, Detroit, and Buffalo have finished their building? Unsure if Debricat re-signs with the Sens or resigns from the Sens, either way there goes the 1st round pick? Mr Joseph is going to want N Paul numbers and then some, he's got 2 Stanley Cups, N Paul has 0 Stanley Cups. Look at the number of points Paul got in the playoffs with no Stanley Cups.

If the team wants any shot at making the playoffs this season, then they have to get a top 4 RD. No sense in doing a trade for the sake of doing a trade, but yes it is extremely important. I would even go as far to say it should've been the #1 priority. It's too bad Zub can't be cloned so he can play with Chabot and Sanderson, but they definitely need to bring a guy in. I have a feeling it's going to be someone we're not expecting at all. I would even put it out there that maybe Boston would be a team that might consider trading Brandon Carlo to the Sens. They have to make room for Krejci and Bergeron. Plus Pasta is going to get paid starting next season. Maybe they can be convinced. In terms of Weegar, Florida is over the cap right now. They need to make a move. Plus they haven't made their team better.

Boucher seems like a really good dude. He catches a ton of flak for being drafted 10th, but HE didn’t make the selection. GMPD seems to have ingratiated himself with sens nation again, so maybe it’s time sens fans reserve passing judgment on young Mr. Boucher. I predict he’s going to have a huge year of development with the 67s or Belleville, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he even got a cup of coffee with the big club. I was one of those people who was shocked when they made the pick, but having watched him in the OHL and hearing him in interviews etc, I love the player and I think he’s a total class act while being a pain in the A&& to play against. I’ve become a believer! Would love to see Joey D’accord back in the organization. 🤞
Not fully sold on a top 4-d right now unless they can get a good fit and rid of a higher Salary like they have for Zaitsev. Hamonic and Holden may be gone next year. Cap wise, only Hamonic may give some extra room.
