  1. The Flames are really on fire, atm. Great Game from Markstrom, and beutiful goals. That is looking very promising, this season.

  2. I’m a big flames fan I’ll say this, I’ve heard people say that this start for Pittsburgh shows why they need their star players back, but I view it differently. Most teams that lose their 2 best forwards and best defensmen don’t look the same. They lose games and suck. This Pittsburgh team looked good against Calgary and just ran into a goalie that decided to be a brick wall. When Pittsburgh is healthy look out, but this also shows their depth and coaching is good too.

  3. Last 2 games pens couldn’t score as opponents goalies were doing their job, playing damn good, ours, not to good.

  4. why does this look like its from 2003? seen better production value in an OHL broadcast

  5. In a season of surprising starts, it's a tie between the Flames and Sabres as to which is exceeding expectations by the most. As for the Pens, I don't know how they do it missing so many players. The score here didn't reflect the play. They ran into Markstrom playing the role of the brick wall.

  6. IF YOUR GOING TO THE SADDLEDOME TONIGHT …MAKE SOME NOISE AND SHOW YOUR APPRECIATION FOR THE HARD WORK THE FLAMES DID ON THE ROAD TRIP

  7. After this game, the Penguins lodged a complain with the Police – Markstrom stole the game from them – lol.
I know it is early, but it reminds me of the 2003/4 run with Sutter as coach and a great goalie (Kiprusoff), Markstrom.
