At least 3-4 weeks ain’t bad, considering we’re weeks away from the start of the season.
Competition has opened up more for the forwards. Somebody like Hoglander probably makes opening night for sure now, although I already expected him to.
Someone like Di Giuseppe could make the roster now. I liked him last season and in the AHL, and thought he deserved a shot then. Even more so now.
But we’ll see how preseason plays out. Let’s hope for a speedy recovery for Brock.
