Hey what’s up Lego how are you doing my man! I wonder if kaprizov will sign now due to the fact they have until September 1st with Minnesota
First
First
I'm more glad they ain't calling him the thrill. That nickname is only for 2 time Stanley Cup Champion Phil the Thrill Kessel
I don't blame him, it's a threat not a guarantee
Both sides are playing chicken lol which side will flinch first hehehhe
Kaprizov is so fun. They can’t lose him. Send Bill Guerin to the Gulag.
Only the Wild can finally get an exciting player and end up in this situation
Hahaha this is friggin karma at its finest dolla dolla bill went for the money as a player now he has to deal with it as a gm. When this guy gets his money 2 to 3 seasons after that he will drop off and blame the team for not being contenders.
If he really wanted 5 years they would have signed him. He is asking for 3. Which is the length that the wild have his rights.
BG said that cuz it is not even a threat. The 4-6 year deal would be nice.
What a pathetic organization. He is coping, Kaprizov leaving 😂😂😂
He's not asking for 5 years
He's asking for a 3 year deal
The wild are offering a 7 or 8 year deal
At 9 million a year
He's. Not going to the Russian league
The cap is 12 million in Russia
At 9 million a year there over paying
In the beginning under paying in the end
5 years is a good term for a hockey player with 56 games played
Why would it bother him if he's not planning to sign him anyway? 🤷♂️
Pass on this guy , sick of players trying to get boat loads of money on first contract
I don’t think the player is involved in talks at all the agent is doing his job
Can he really get any better he’s already 24 not much more time to develop
Don't ever call him dolla dolla bill kirill it's the dumbest nickname in sports.
Always call a bluff.
Tough situation though. Was this season a fluke? Will he pull an Alex Semin and just disappear from existence once he gets paid?
Tough spot for Guerin. It's both important to retain the potential superstar, but also, not overpay, yet again, for that franchise.
Guess decisions like this is why Guerin gets paid the big dollahs dollah bills.
Edit: wonder what people would offer for Kaprizov in a trade. I'm sure Eichel would be available.
Guy wants the world for half a season he wasnt even that great in the playoffs was invisible most of the time but hey hope he knows he's alienating himself from the whole wild fan base
kaprizov will go back to khl and guerin will get fired
Give the kid a bridge deal.. its worth a shot to try and sign him long term for the team in this situation but not the player, so if he doesn't want a long term deal, don't sour the relationship by pushing it, get the deal done, sell a bunch of jerseys and then make up your mind on the big payday later on.
Hope this doesn't become a repeat of the Alexander Radulov saga Nashville went through about 15 years ago. I'm a Wings fan and I don't want to see this guy leave, he's an exciting player who's great for the league.
Rask will be gone. Wish he was gone today. Kapo will get paid. Strom and Greenway are expendable. And not everyone in Minnesota believes in Fiala due to his lack of discipline. He got benched a couple times this year. We named our baby that's due in September after Kirill. 97 wants 3 years. We will sign him for 6 years 10 million.
kah-rill kah-pree-zov
He wasn’t a normal rookie, I don’t care if he only played 1 nhl season. He was an established foreign pro by the time he got to Minny. The reason Kap asking for 3 years is because he will be 27 at that point and will be a UFA. It’s the same length of time he would have to play in the KHL, running out the Wilds rights, so he could return as a UFA. That’s what this whole thing seems to be about. I’d be surprised if he did accept even 5 years. But who knows at this point. If he’s actually willing to play in the KHL for that span, whether this current CKA Moscov threat is a ruse or not, there’s not much the Wild can do. With US Fed tax, State and local tax, 9mil for the Wild ends up being like $5 mil in actual income. The way KHL salaries work, only actual salary counts against their actual salary cap. Russia only has 13% tax, with added loopholes that could probably save him more in the long run. Add to that stacked KHL bonus structure which wouldn’t count towards wage cap. So in the end, a KHL team would only need to get to that $4-4.5 mil in final income, to get him close to what he’d actually bring home playing for the Wild. Which I think is somewhat doable. Datsyuk and Kovalchuk were making $4.5 and $5.5 mil respectively when they were in the KHL, which was like 5 years ago. Things have changed a bit since then. Even so, if he’s willing to make say $3-4 mil in income playing in the KHL for 3 seasons, instead of the $5-5.5 in income he would with the Wild, he could wait them out and then return as a UFA.
This dude is talking as if Kirill is actually asking for 5 years. Dude wants 3
Dude running this video…you have a great speaking voice and you have good things to say in most videos…but… watching your NHL 15 game play throughout the whole video is utterly horrible. This shows you are making no effort with the video outside of talking. Very Weak my friend. Get with the program and edit in some player video, stats or even a video of you would help tremendously. Just saying!!
Bridge deals are around 3 years. Not sure why this guy is on a 5 year tangent.
If his alleged Russian team with a 12.2 million annual team cap, offers him an eight figure contract all the power to him…
Thinking the Canucks can easily accommodate him is also enticing but unlikely.
