turk and reavos relationship to me is one of the more romantic things about hockey, a guy struggling to find ice in pittsburgh, maybe it looked like his career was winding down. gets to vegas and really carves out a spot for himself in the nhl and in nhl history. became a fan favorite and really added some intangibles to the vegas lineup, and that stuff bleeds through to the rest of the team. then turk gets hired in new york and reavo came not long after and again has become a fan favorite, makes an undervalued contribution on the ice and is a true culture guy. in my opinion hes one of the big reasons the rangers have built a culture and a winning one this season. all of a sudden reavos got 700 nhl games and gallant revived his career not once but twice. this is how you treat your fourth line guys, true class shown by gallant.
