I'm not sad about losing this one. The Oilers had lots of quality scoring opportunities and we have had fantastic goaltending from 2 goalies over the last 4 games. Keumper was just on another level.
That may have been the best all around game I have ever seen Kuemper play! Awesome game! Hopefully this momentum continues into the playoffs. Gg Oilers!
That sword sheath by Kuemper at the end was one of the coolest celebrations I've ever seen from a netminder. When you save 49/50 shots and steal a game that goes all the way to a shootout… I'd say you've earned it.
Both goaltenders were playing on their heads!! What an exciting game to watch. Kuemper definitely gets first star of the game! Also I suppose we found out who is the better #29. I love both Mac and Drai, tonight Mac just had the edge.
Funny thing is for his 40+ save performance Kuemper got 2nd star and Edmontons goalie got first and Edmontons goal scorer was 3rd despite losing?????????
I know this is just regular season, but I wish the Oilers played more like this during their series. So much more entertaining with those teams going back and forth like thsi

Next year Edmonton has to get rid of Jesse Puljujärvi the guy can't score and he always gives up the puck.
This game was insane. Both goalies played outstanding, but Kuemper made unreal saves to keep his team in it.
