He’s been my favorite player for like 13 years, he’s why I became a goalie. It was great to have him on my favorite team this season but he deserved better. Hopefully the wild go on a nice run with him. Really wanna see him get another cup.
He’s from my area ish and I met him a couple of times on the ice (a lot of Quebec’s stars did invite the local teens to practice)
I had the chance to play with Lecavalier, Saint-Louis, Fleury, Brière, Lemieux and Pierre Turgeon (both friends of the family)
They all had a huge passion of helping the youth or just make them feel somewhat at ease, for at the time, most teens in my area were having it really tough (there was a huge wave of suicide/depression in these years).
They don’t know, but some athletes do save lives by sharing their passion. And that’s a reason why I’ll always be a Hockey fan before being X team’s fan.
As a Blues fan, this isn't a big deal. I hope the Wild and Blues meet in the first or second round. Blues would definitely come out on top.
