  1. The litter box of the internet always finds it's way into the comments section.

  2. I legitimately thought the guy on the right was gone break down & admit he was a victim also. He appeared to be on the verge of crying for 50mins 8secs.

  3. I disliked Samson when he ran the Marlins. I got to say. I'm more of a fan now. That dude is honest. You got to respect that.

  4. These meathead comments from some of these guys. Probably the same dudes who talk about how man r**e isn't taken seriously and then turn around on a clip like this and try to use whataboutisms.

  5. You know you should really see what the whole story plays out b4 you start chopping off heads…It takes more than a week to figure what and who was involved and by how much(key Statements), unless your ESPN and your gonna start bringing in all your corrupt dense football cronies that are interested more in turning hockey into a social media fiasco..filling it with rule breakers militant commentary lead by Steve A , while he trys to import his social Warrior crap… pointing fingers at anyone he can ruin…This very company is the one that made Drew Brees apologize for saying how proud of his two grandpa's and how he would never kneel..He has too much respect for himself his grandpa's and there paratrooper service in WW2.. Within days he was forced to apologize for that..Its mind boggling … All while Lebron James calls out a policeman and threatened him and his family by posting his image on social media with 50 mill views lol…This officer was doing his job and doing it properly and effectively..If that was a non African American that did this that liberal rag ESPN would have crucified them..but as usual nothing happened it went from one extreme to another.. Gary Batman you're just bringing in bad people upon bad people just for the sake of money… What are you gonna do when they Stop you from ever making up revenue on the other major sports…With lies, false accusations what ever it takes to keep you away from its bread and butter sports….To them this move is to keep hockey and you in check..lol Then what do you do…

  6. Ohio State Wrestling Team as well.

This is the best sports show on tv or YT. Dan leads a great group and they talk about important subjects.

  7. I wish the local hour was ALWAYS done like this and put up on YT. I am a weirdo and cN’t do audio only podcasts, no clue why.

  8. I can't believe the juxtaposition of listening to Kyle Beach's heartbreaking interview while seeing Dan dressed as the Heisman. You can only get that on this show

  9. When we dudes hear a big tough dude having his autonomy taken, it hits different. Especially when it's our sports and our tough guys

  10. This is one of the few sports talk shows that covered this topic.. Great job as always this show covers all things unbiased.

  11. Since no criminal charges will be brought (system designed to protect the powerful), there's nothing left but a civil lawsuit against all these individuals and the Blackhawks organization for damages brought by the victims in this case. They should sue.

  12. I love the fact that this show can cover a serious topic like this while dan is dressed as a heisman

  13. The tomahawk chop question – as well as the question for all Indiginous iconography – is so messed up. Imagine if someone killed your family and burned down your house, and then started a business using your picture as it's logo because he was so impressed with how you got through the tragedy. Would you be okay with that? Would it still be wrong if the use is a "compliment?" Would it matter if everyone was telling you that you should be okay with it because it's a compliment? Of course not.

Yes, the people doing the chop today didn't take the land (their wealth was basically built on the ashes of those actions, but never mind), but this tradition goes back to a time when Indiginous people were still being killed and their children being taken, so yeah.

  14. Joe Biden and Hunter Biden are both sexual predators, no talk about them , and they are way more important then Joel

  15. I mean, just imagine a team called like the Washington Brothers and on the helmet is a silhouette of a man with a big Afro and when the crowd gets hype they all in unison yell BLACK POWER and throw up a fist. You don’t think that would be offensive? I don’t see how it’s any different just because they are Native Americans

  16. Until I read it in the comments and knowing Mike is such a huge wresting fan, I seriously thought Dan was dressed as Goldust.

  17. 90% of the people who are offended by the tomahawk chop are white people. Most Indians don't care

  18. If you really think about it the Hawks Scandal really started to gain momentum when Mcdonough was ousted. The Wirtzes methodically were trying to dissociate themselves while trying to cover up or even kill this issue from 2010 Hawks Upper Brass especially who were in the meeting mentioned about the abuse.

  19. In my opinion, one of the reasons why many people don't remember that accusers came out publicly against Deshaun Watson and why they are having a harder time thinking about that situation in the same way as what happens with the Blackhawks is because the lawyer who represents a lot fo the accusers made a mockery of the process in the beginning. He was "rolling out" accusers every other day on social media as though it was a comedy show. A lot of people did not take him seriously and as a result did not take the accusers and accusations seriously. Deshaun's team fell into that trap at first, too, and responded on social media, which did not help the situation. None of these cases should be tried on social media or in the court of public opinion. It does a disservice to both accusers and accused.

  20. Not only did coach Q shovel it under the rug. He wrote the predator a letter of recommendation. Inexcusable

  21. I worked with a church in the aftermath of widespread child sexual abuse by a previous pastor. The abuse had occurred 25 years prior to my work with congregation and victims/families. The same behavior was happening—no follow-up by regional church officials. This led to lawsuits by the victims and a a circling of the wagons by regional and national church officials, under the guidance of their attorneys. I was a supervisor of several local churches (which was unpaid) and I had my own congregation. I told the bishop that I was going to meet with the victims and the congregation. I also went to sit in the courtroom, albeit incognito (jeans and a sweatshirt). I was so angry and disappointed in church leaders, enough to eventually walk away from the ministry. One of the victims told me that if someone met with them earlier in the way I did, the lawsuits probably wouldn’t have happened. The victims had a harder time with the behavior of the church leaders that the abuse from the pastor. My heart goes out to any and all victims of sexual abuse and misconduct.

As an unsettling side note, I did my undergrad at Michigan State and grad degree at Penn State. My wife is CEO of an organization that investigates child abuse in partnership with law enforcement. Sexual misconduct of all sorts is pervasive.

  22. Dan's cognitive dissonance speaks to me. How equipped is anyone to deal with a Sandusky? 1st degree, 2nd degree, 3rd degree- are all murders. Everyone agrees there is a dead body. Cold blooded? Passionate? Accidental? How does one adjudicate the killers?

My life has had sexual assault. A rural boy, I was 13 when I was raped by an adult who I thought loved me. He was my sixth grade teacher and my best friend. It was the summer of 1974. Two nights in an upper room of the Mayflower, an Atlantic City Hotel. Located on the corner of 1403 Boardwalk and 170 South Tennessee Avenue. Monopoly anyone?

A cosmic joke compelled my escape to Happy Valley. As the Sandusky scandal permeated everything, Michael Jackson's music pumped through the local mall. A Speaker of the US House had raped boys. Michigan State women compelled girls to see 'The Crotch Doc'. An accused US Congressman allegedly enabled 'Dr. Jelly Paws'.

Does anyone really think 'The Doc' only used his 'Paws'? Or limited his 'Paws' to undergrads, who BTW, their brain's are still developing too? When PTSD latches on to a developing brain: It is permanent.

I speak only for myself. I have no right to speak for anyone else. I resolutely refuse to do so.

How do I mitigate my rage? Who deserves? Who doesn't deserve? Who deserves just a little? For me, maintaining my own 'cognitive dissonance' is not about forgiveness. It's about my rage management. These things never end so it's about me not reliving and not being pissed off at everything and everyone all the time.
