Yzerman has his eyes on this one!
Every day I feel it’s a little more likely that Elmer makes the team. He has a lot of development ahead of him, but the guy is a giant friggin unicorn and is going to be a huge problem for opponents on the ice in spite of being so raw and likely making many errors.
Tyler Meyers has made a career of just being huge because it’s such an advantage. He never really developed into a good pro player.
Imho Soderblom deserves special attention in development. Maybe that’s best done under the purview of the Red Wings directly in his particular. case. He’s unique enough to justify it.
We got a lot of forwards that are looking like top 6 players. Even our top 9 seems crowded. It’ll be interesting to see how Stevie handles this.

Yeah, he’s top six tonight… But he’s playing with Suter and Erne which is essentially bottom six talent. Though I guess with Copp out of the lineup Suter might be our second best center.
