Kuzmenko looks like he has good hands and can definitely put the puck in the net. Mikheyev could be the winger Horvat been looking for. I could see a Garland Horvat Mikheyev line brewing. Lazar took a home town discount, $1million. Pearson Dickinson Lazar be good line and he will help on hits n faceoff penelty kill. Horvat Mikheyev can play one pk Lazar Pearson other pk. Vancouver got a little deeper but where does Hoglander fit on this team?

Kuzmenko is no gusev. Nice try.
Mikheyev is a good signing. Hes been underutilized in Toronto. He spent most of his time there on the third or fourth line. Give him more skilled linemates and im betting his production improves. He is also a highly skilled penalty killer with a tonne of experience doing that on a good team. He goes into the corners, and is one of the fastest straight line skaters in the nhl.
Put him with Kuzmenko and Horvat and this dude is gonna put up numbers.

Mikheyev is a good signing.Kuzmenko is an A grade signing.Lazar was a B grade signing.I think Vancouver is going to move one to two major pieces.Not sure but I would think Garland and Meyers to free up some cap space.
mikheyev contract will be a steal in a couple years and you can quote me. He is just entering his prime and going to get top 6 chances.
I love the Mikheyev signing. Apparently he was offered 5.1million by other teams but he chose to go with Vancouver. This guy has kept up with McDavid during end to end races. He’s not too old and will be present as Petey and Hugh’s get older. The Canucks have had their eyes on Mikheyev since January so I feel like they are also happy with this deal. This signing also helps with their PK and fills gaps from Tyler Motte. This signing also can be beneficial to convince JT Miller to resign
I think that there free agent spending spree was targeted at filling in areas of the game in which they needed to improve. I will give them an A+
