    treliving had to do this. if they went into the season with huberdeau’s future in question, calgary wouldve been a media circus all year long. treliving saved what should’ve been a disastrous offseason. im a canuck fan i cant help but hope it works out for them for the sake of not letting two american players ruin a canadian franchise.

    Dude go look at Calgarys line combinations before making this video. Hanafin Andersson Tanev Kyllington Weegar are all bonified top 4 d men. Why would Calgary go out and trade for another top 4 D man. Only forcing players that need more ice time further down the depth charts… not much thought put in I see. Once again…🤦🏼

    Jakob Pelletier is gonna play great with Huberdeau. Huberdeau signing is probably the best thing that could happen for Pelletier coming in

    Flames are not thin on LSD (Hanafin, Kylington, Zadorov, Valimaki, Mackey, even Gilbert is on cusp of breaking 8n to depth role, and Weeger can play on left side as RSD very effectively)

    The Flames don’t need Chychrun, they need a top six forward. The people making these trade offers are absolutely delusional.

    I would never take any of those trades from Arizona. We would lose so much, Zary and Pelletier are the prospects we need to ensure that we have offense in the future. And Kylington is our future star defenseman.

    Great trade and signing! We may lose a little offense but maybe we can move Valimaki for a top 6 forward.. It all depends if Monahan will be healthy or not.. Either way his contract and Lucic's contract comes off the books next year also.. hope we keep Lucic but for cheaper though. I think our defense is pretty solid though with Hanifin, Andersson, Weegar and Tanev, Zadorov and either Kylington or Valimaki.. I think we're good there! I would like to see some rookies like Pelletier or Phillips and maybe even Ruzicka get some ice time this year. I wouldn't want to trade Weegar yet though especially if he has said he wants to sign here.

    This was a bad move. 4 years in, this contract will be an albatross. Ask this, is Calgary REALLY a cup contender after this signing? If you can say “no” this was a bad decision. He was better as a future trade asset.

    In my humble opinion, Lucic needs to be moved before and other trades are looked at. He holds the most AVV and creates the most flexibility. You can't make any decisions until you know how much you're playing with.

    Lol, any team trading for Chychrun Will massively overpay for what they get. I don’t understand why he’s regarded as a superstar worthy of all these assets. I truly hope Ottawa stays away and let’s Calgary make that mistake.

    Valimaki, Pelletier, Monahan, Florida's 2025 1st for Patrick Kane through a second team salary retention. (Maybe Arizona?) for a second rounder? cap hit would be just over 2.6 mill.

    Crazy few rumors! Milano would be good for Calgary I think. Hanifin would make a good trade piece for a top winger or center

    This makes the W complete for the Calgary Flames in the Tkachuk trade and they will still be a contending team with a healthy back end. I am not sure Kadri is was they need, but he is not getting the 80 million he expected at 31 years of age, to be honest he may have done himself more harm with the kiss my ass quote. UNLESS the injury to his thumb many GM’s are waiting to see the results of that. We shall see, excited for next year.

    5 pieces for Chychrun who is a 4th line player what am I missing. Now if Chychrun was getting a point a game and had a 7 year contract at 3 million a season then sure. While they are making offers like that how about we trade the same 5 assets but get Conner McDavid but Edmonton retains 50% of the salary…..fantasy land is wonderful isn't it.
