There are some flashes in the pan from what I saw tonight, even with a loss that doesn't matter there was a lot to be excited about. It'll be interesting to see the regular season lines and who they decide to pull onto the roster.
Here's a coach who: knows EXACTLY what he wants his team to do, privately acknowledges that Rome wasn't built in a day and yet is still clearly determined to ensure that the Red Wings' future arrival in the promised land of the playoffs will take not one single second longer than it should do. This is just great to see and such a welcome change!
Given Coach Lalonde's 'A' grade career coaching pedigree to date, Red Wings players can either expect to be sharply learning and executing or leaving (down the road): there will be no half-heartedness or middle way with this man at the helm👍!
Good times ahead in Detroit, that's for sure. Let's Go, Red Wings🏒🎯!
The fact that Erne was the only one that could score tonight is beyond sad
I really was expressed by Eric Soderblom play. This team has a lot of potential.
Much better to watch than last few years. Pittsburgh game, the team seemed much faster.
I still would like a more aggressive defensive play. But, who da puck am l?
