  1. Blues fans ain’t ready for the fact Bennington wasn’t great we will see next game I mean 7 post

  2. LETS GO COLORADO. YOU ARE THE BEST TEAM EVERRRRRR🎉🎉🎉🎉 I LOVE YOU COLORADO. KEEP DOING WHAT YOUR DOING AND YOU WILL FEEL PROUD AND LUCKY!!😊😊🎉❤❤

  3. Is there a better team right now, than the Avs? Depth is insane, we have guys sitting who would be second or third liners on any other team. The speed, the physicality, the skill. Bennington can’t sustain that pace. Eventually he’s gonna break, we hit what, 7 posts?

  4. The Avs had double the shots on net. Binnington was the only reason it was close. Blues need to play better

  5. Blues had the lead longer in this game than the Predators had it their whole series.

  6. It would be nice if they showed the penalty calls in OT that lead to game winning goals and cut out some of the completely meaningless plays how about that?.

  7. This is bullshit.
Now the 3rd time these playoffs I've fallen asleep before the end of the game, and this is the 3rd time the game goes to OT.
All I want from a game I don't care about is to get OT, and I slept through three of them so far!
    Life = rigged. 🙁

  8. I don't know if the Avs get that win if it wasn't for the great screening that the Blues put on Bennington. He was an absolute unit in this game.

  9. Binnington did not play that well, he was beaten cleanly on the glove side 5 times, but was saved by the post, he was beaten 3 times on goals that went in, and was beaten 3 more times on shots where avalanche players had open nets and shanked the shot, the blues got every single bounce to go their way, if that luck had slid over the avs way just a little husso finishes this game because it was 11-2, the result was good for him, and looks good on paper

  10. “It’s a game of Inches”

That was a quote made by Auston Matthews after the Leafs lost to the Bolts in game 7. I bring this quote up because it was the best way to describe how the game went between the Avs and Blues.

Everyone wants to give Binnington a lot of credit for his performance. I am not one of them. Kadri, Rantanen, Lehkonen and Cogliano was blocked by the crossbar and goal posts. Binnington was spared from having one of the worst performances in NHL playoff history. On the flip side, the concept of game of inches also applies to the Avs for their godawful complacent line change on the PK that resulted in a goal by Kyrou. Up until Toews’ penalty, the Avs played their game to perfection. That one mistake almost led to an upset and loss of home ice advantage.

Pundits need to get off the perspective that rest provided rust to the Avalanche. All throughout the season, when the Avs gets well needed rest, they come out blazing in their upcoming game. Game 1 was no different. Their shot attempt was over 100.

I never thought I’d see Girard and Manson contribute offensively on the biggest stage of the game. It was a pleasant surprise that uplifted the team. That said, I don’t see this as a habit going forward.

The biggest takeaway for me was how the Avs held Perron, Tarasenko and Buchnevich to one shot combined. If they keep this up, this is going to be a very short series.

I’ve been seeing a lot of smack talk from Blues fans. I used to be sympathetic towards them before they won the cup. Ever since they won the cup, this fanbase has been increasingly douchey. You would think they would follow O’Reilly’s example of staying humble after he opened his mouth last year. Maybe a YouTube recommendation video is in order for Blues fan where Mackiinnon was memed as Michael Jordan and shows highlights of a whopping that took place in last year’s playoffs in the first round.

    Avs in 5.

  11. This game should never have gone into overtime because the AV's DID SCORE with 5.02 minutes to go in the second period – in slow motion you can clearly see the PUCK in the net and then bounce right back out…Commentator even mentioned it so I am really not sure why this wasn't reviewed and called a goal.

  12. we can beat this team, just need to play our game, Bennington is back baby , don't count STL BLUES out, they, very been there before, LGB

  13. dont praise binnington to much he didnt keep this game close the goal post did could have easily been a 8-2 game youll see in game 2

  14. Landeskog was great in these highlights. Assisting, getting the puck, and screening.

  15. Что этот Бинингтон себе позволяет?))💪💪💪

  16. I know this is late but my dumb friend said if binner player the entire series. The blues would have won. I dont know about that Binningtons career stats vs Colorado aren’t great.
