    1. Jay Woodcroft and Dave Manson will be back on long-term contracts. Will be signed in a few days.
    2. Evander Kane will not be back and he was not brought in with any intention of keeping him for more than one season. Oilers have no money to sign him.
    3. They will extend Brett Kulak on a long-term deal.
    4. Duncan Keith will go on LTIR for the entire season.
    5. Tyson Barrie is not being moved. The Oilers have no right-shot defenseman prospects who can replace him.
    6. Philip Broberg will be in the NHL next season, possibly as a #7 defenseman.

    7. Mike Smith is likely to retire.
    8. Stuart Skinner will play in the NHL full-time next season for Edmonton.
    9. The Oilers will sign a UFA goalie at a reasonable cap hit, but fans are going to be underwhelmed when it happens. It won't be a start goalie. No cap space.

    Andrei Kuzmenko will be the guy who takes Kane's spot in the top 6. Possibly Holloway works his way in. I'm guessing Husso signs and they run with Husso / Skinner as a 1A 1B tandem. Hard to predict how that would go, neither has a long resume
