Good morning: Who ever takes the head coach position job, does have, if they all remain, a pretty solid base of talent, especially, forwards, and in goal, to work with. Obviously there are trade possibilities that have been mentioned, but as it stands, this should be a playoff team. Need help on the back line, though.
I feel like the correct answer is Andrew Brunette. I think he was unjustly replaced in the grand scheme of things despite being fantastic all year long. He was also one of the first expansion draft picks so that is a nice little story too.
Don’t forget Mike Yeo , , personally I would like to give someone new instead of recycling have been intrigued by Steve Ott ,
Jeff there's only so many head coaching jobs. Florida told Brunette to get lost why wouldn't he be interested in the Jets job ?!?!

Jets need to build around KFC, Ehlers, JOMO, Heinola, Sandberg, and Perf. I'd get rid of 55 for for some picks and blue chips. If Doobs wants to test free agency he will most likely sign with Montreal. If that's the case, why not try to get that first overall pick and some? If we trade those two guys we will probably have to keep Wheelers for cap reasons. DeMelo, Schmidtty and Dillon can be moved for assets. Regardless of what the Jets do I don't think Helle will resign in two years. Same goes with Doobs and Scheif if they are not moved. I would like to be a contender not crawl into the playoffs year after year. Now is the time.

I agree with rebuild,Trotz isn't ready and missed out some coaches.. This cast had to long,let's rebuild and 2-3yrs into rebuild when need not a development coach get one like Trotz take to promise land
Hire my brother Brad fr the job and the Jets would likely win the Stanley Cup in his first two years of being their head coach.
I wonder if they ever consider glen gullackson ,…he’s the oilers offensive coach and he was Calgary’s head coach…he took Calgary to the playoffs in 2017 and he is a decent coach !
