it’s gonna be a tough game. Don’t count a on a win tonight.
But there some interesting things to watch.
Nice to see Heineman given a shot with Caufield and Dach, he was our best forward last night.
Would’ve liked to see Trudeau with Xhekaj.
That Dadonov-Dvorak-Gallagher makes a lot of sense.
Should be more watchable than yersterday!
Caufield with Dach is a great pairing. I don’t know why but I really believe Dach can turn things around. I know a lot of people criticized him last game, but there was a lot of times where he showed why he went 3rd overall.
I really like that 2nd line. These dudes will fly like the wind. I also like that Caufield is paired with a 6’4 and a 6’2. Dach also gets two shooters, since he’s a pass first guy he’ll have options
Realistically what does our full healthy (for season open) lineup look like?

Caufield – Suzuki – Hoffman
Anderson – Dvorak – Gallagher
Dadonov – Dach – Pitlick
Evans – Monahan – Armia

Our D is atrociously bad unless the kids play incredibly and also seems very much in the air as to who is playing where. Also, our forward group is a whole lot of mediocre outside of Caufield and Suzuki.
There’s gonna be quite a lot of blowouts this year from the looks of it…
Heineman is an interesting prospect. He was 24 for top 24 under 25. I’ve heard it talked about over and over from habs social media platforms that he has limited upside, but at 20 he is sure getting a lot of looks in camp so management must like him.
