Some of this is really contingent on the Oilers being able to trade Kassian and Barrie elsewhere (and maybe Shore / Foegelle). We just really need MOMO (MOre MOney). If they do go for Kane (and actually get him) that erases a lot of the cash. If Yamo/JP/McLeod eats up too much (even 2 of 3) it's a problem too. Until we know what Uncle Kenny can pull off (again, I am NOT a relative of Ken Holland) who knows. Great vid as always. Take care all.

Honestly Edmonton's biggest concerns are 1. GOALTENDING!!! 2. Finding a setup man for Evan Bouchard. 3. Resigning Yamamoto, Pululijarvi, and McCloud. Everything else is secondary and just a nice bonus.
Mikheyev would be an awesome addition for the Oilers I think, but I think the Leafs will be looking for a roster player. Puju +pick?
I could really care less about the forwards we have right now (saying they all get resigned at a decent price) I would rather waste cap space on a goaltender and a defensive defence men or at least a couple defence men.
Trade Barrie and Fogele for draft picks.

Dylan Strome sucks, I wouldn’t pick him up. Same with debrusk, don’t need him at all he’ll be in line 3 or 4
I'd let yamo or bison king go before McLeod at this point. Wouldn't mind Ilya but I'd take Crouse from that list

I'd Look at Bringing in a Guy like Strome or Crouse in with the Oilers, Cap-space still needs to be Done if Holland can Bring in Kane back witch Of course is Plan A. If Smith and Keith Retire Huge Win and Kane Resigns, Plan B Sign or Trade in Rights of Dylan Strome, Lawson Crouse, or Jake Debrusk. There's Also Hints that Mason Marchment could be a decent bottom six winger. Don't think Mikeyev is coming to Oil Country.
I can work with a PJ and prospect trade for Debrusk, but 4m for Mikeyev is a little too much. Never hit the 40 pt plateau, but a very valuable penalty killer and depth player nevertheless. Best if we can lower the price tag to 2.5m. I don't think Strome is needed. We have a lot of center depth with McLeod and Ryan and Nuge
I always thought the Oilers need to get Debrusk because he would fit in great with the Oilers! plus he like speed .🇨🇦💯👍🏾

My order of preference:
1) DeBrusk
2) Crouse
3) Strohm
4) Mikhayev
DeBrusk has the best track record and is good blend of skill/toughness. Crouse is a thumper, something we're gonna badly need if Kane and Kassian aren't back, and has shown some skill. I love what Strome could bring offensively, but he's Charmin soft. That's too much $$ for Mikhayev IMO.
Give up JP and anything necessary for Mykahyev (or however it's spelled!) he's one of the more deadly players on the leafs!

Not interested in Mikayev will not add anything, Strome maybe? Might find some chemistry with Connor. Kraus??? Jake Debrusk – definitely want this player! Josh Anderson if and only if they offer a trade, I like Josh Anderson!

Oilers should get Strome, Manson and Campbell in free agency and resign Kane or bring in Anderson to replace Kane
