  1. toews is a bum, talking about playing for another team, bro no one even wants you anyway lol

  2. Maybe captain seriously OVerated should give the money back he’s stealing

  3. Maybe he should’ve been worried about Kyle Beach being sexually abused… Idk, just a thought.

  4. Toews is a dirt bag! He knew about the scout molesting players but as captain did nothing! He also helped ruin Blackhawks by taking a 10.5 mill contract then crying to team saying they need to keep all old guys and bring in more for cup run, he is a crybaby and overpaid bum. As captain of the team he should be protecting players not keeping quiet as the scout or trainer are lining up a young guys back end…they should have traded him after his good season 3 years ago when he still had value.

  5. I never took/take Chicago at their word when they said they need to rebuild/stock – the Jones trade was very evident they weren't by trading a guy they drafted #8 along with TWO 1st round picks. And then you hear Debrincat is also on the block, a guy who along with Boqvist should have been apart of the rebuild.

Hagel you traded for Two 1st and two guys that are closer to Hagel's true production than his current projected – smart move. I wouldn't be surprised if this is his peak season. For Leafs fans – thats like trading a Bunting for Two 1st and Two Kampf/Mikheyev/Blackwell/Kase/Connor Brown grouping types.

  6. Kane-yes,he's worth more than Giroux,if all his equal. He's a better player,& pretty sure he's significantly younger. But Toewes just isn't close to the same guy he once was…teams would definitely be interested, but he wouldn't probably get close to the same haul as Giroux.

  7. I think they should fire everyone except Lankinen. Regulation wins 15, same as AZ, even Seattle has 17.
    There's your rebuild.

  8. Maybe Chicago has an issue with Players Named Brandon. Hagel And Saad. Not On Chicago. Do You See A Pattern? LOL

  9. I hate Toewes. He's a weasel. He's talked smack about other players while wearing the C. He's whiney on the ice, he downplayed the Kyle Beach situation which is appalling on a humanitarian level.

  10. Has a Hawks fan I hope Kane and Toews retire as Hawks. If they really want to play for another team to win then ship them out it helps them and the team. I'm personally excited for the rebuild and I want to see who we trade/draft over the next few years. Everyone should be on the block if their price is met and I honestly really hope they trade Dach to some team this year to try and get into the top 3 or something. Dude plays like a decent 3rd liner and doesn't use his size in the slightest.

  11. Hawks are a mess. Years and years of horrible moves by Stan Bowman brought the Hawks to this point. It all started with trading Panarin straight up for Brandon Saad. Breadman and Kane is what made Anisimov a 1st line player. Sure enough next year Anisimov dropped to a 2nd line player. It amazes me that Stan didnt realize that…just how good Panarin was. Then that huge package for Seth Jones like wtf was that? Again just no direction and desperation. Stan couldnt accept that he's responsible for the deterioration of the Hawks so he kept selling the narrative that the Hawks will be contenders again when reality is they're far from it. My condolences to the next team that hires Stan Bowman as general manager.

  12. Toews and Kane took all the team's money! What the heck did they think was gonna happen?????

  13. Hawks should have started their rebuild in 2017-18. They gonna be bottom 10 teams for at least 5 years. We can only hope they draft well and develop the young guys well

  14. Let me explain it so you can understand, they tried to retool on the fly under Bowman in deference to Toews and Kane. Bowman's gone, Davidson has said that he intends to rebuild, how do you not know that?
He has made it clear in public statements.
Trading an older star player for young prospects and draft choices is the normal order of things, you cannot maintain sucess indefinitely, if you're drafting high 20's, every year, it's hard to restock your system.
To be honest, I'm surprised Toews is surprised by this, retooling on the fly just means you are Mediocre year after year most of the time. Hagel wasn't being shopped, let's be clear, but if someone makes you an offer you can't refuse, by definition you can't refuse it.I am a huge Hagel fan, and I hate to see him go, and I (and all Hawk fans) will be watching very closely at those two first rounders they got for him.
