The Lightning's first win of the season over the Rangers and Artemi Panarin's first career playoff loss to the Lightning. I wonder if longtime New York sports fans hope the Rangers don't pull a 1993 New York Knicks when they were up 2-0 in the series against the back-to-back defending champs Chicago Bulls (same as the Lightning) only to lose four straight and the series. That would suck.

All it took was 51 shots and some garbage penalties calls for the Rangers to lose a last minute nail biter. They’ll be fine .

Tampa Rays get a heck of a favorable strike zone call in baseball.
The year Brady won it they got a incredible set of favorable calls.
They are all good on low payrolls.

You could definitely see a major momentum change after the 1st period. Even the announcers said the rags looked tired. Soooo Ken … here are some facts … factual facts … but produce some suspicion's …. or at least they should to anybody with a brain the size of a walnut or larger. Which I suspect that yours is.
Tampa Bay in the year 2021 had these major sports teams with team payroll rankings as follows…
NFL 24th lowest out of 32 teams. ( Won super bowl )
NHL 31st lowest out of 32 teams. ( Won S Cup )
MLB 27th lowest out of 30 teams. ( Lost in AL divisional series … Although they made it to the world series the year before)
And I would add that in baseball they repeat year after year as deep playoff contenders more so then any other team. An awfully difficult thing to do even for high salary teams.
So there is no hate in any of the above.
Just a Awful … Awful … Awful lot of mathematical mystery to me combined with all of the favorable calls these teams seem to get when I watch them.
Now perhaps the 720 out of 800 in math on my SAT back in high school is just getting the best of me.
If Tampa Bay does get a NBA team ( The NBA is chomping at the bit to get in there by the way ) and they go big into the NBA playoffs with a low budget team, would that raise any suspicion's in your walnut?
