  1. Erik Gudbranson is so underrated! I swear, I'll never understand the hate. The guy is a beast! Worth every damn penny!

  2. Product of his environment??? Ilya played on the third line and played with Kampf and Engvall and no pp time. He's going to instantly help our PK, bring speed to the team which it sorely needs and if he plays with our top 6 players will put up the points.

  3. Garland possible get Traded and Pearson before September Defense still issued podkolzon is not a fourth liner canucks going to lose Miller for nothing again?

  4. I really like the lazar deal. Ilya is a bit of a risk, but should be decent. Glad it's not more than 4 years

  5. When considering the value of what Philly got for Claude as a rental you've got to remember that he made it known he would only waive his no trade if he was going to Florida. I have full confidence JT will have a 90+ point season again in his contract year and with his contract being one of the best values in the league there should be some pretty juicy offers coming our way.

That being said, there's a lot of risk there so it would've been nice to see him get moved by now. I really like what they've done with the front office so I have to believe that when the right offer comes along they'll pull the trigger

  6. The Lazar and Mikheyev signings are solid. Ilya isn't exactly a bargain contract, but he's still in his 20s and has the potential to score 30 goals in a season if he plays in the top 6. 4.75 for a 30 goal, 50 point player who kills penalties is pretty good. Remember when we were gushing about Garland's contract? This guy could potentially be better offensively than Garland. Lazar is cheap and he's with us for a few years with the chance to finally play to his full potential. In any case, he'll be a cheap, solid bottom 6 forward who can chip in every once in a while offensively and play the gritty, defensive game. If we can free up salary visa vie moving out Miller, Pearson and Myers, we'll be in excellent shape.

  7. The problem with trading Garland is that you still have the issue with resigning Miller with no cap space. Miller is the one that has to go and get a right D in exchange

  8. he got 20 goals and a quarter of his ice time was on the PK so he may be a 25-30 goal guy. does nobody think filip johansson could make the lineup?

  9. Yeah Pearson would look meh on any half-decent NHL club. He just looked okay last year on the Canucks. He's not it.

  10. Lightning fan BUT OMG I LOVE YOUR INTRO SONG IS IS AV FOR DOWNLOAD??? IT'S LIKE THE PERFECT INTRO TO A MAJESTIC SUPER CHARACTER!!!
