  1. I'm excited to see what Soderblom do. He looks like he has a ton of potential and has been getting great development.

  2. Great stuff as always, love that Traverse City shirt Rachel! Hopefully see ya at a Griffins game this year ladies! LGRW🐙🏒🤘

  3. Grand Rapids Griffins should be contending for the Calder Cup in 2023!
With the additions of Elmer Soderblom, Albert Johansson, Pontus Andreasson, Cross Hanas, and Austin Czarnik and possibly Jonatan Berggren and Simon Edvidsson if they don't make Detroit the entire year. Sebastian Cossa might see a backup role in G.R. unless he gets sent back to the Oil Kings or Toledo. The Griffins should also have a healthy and motivated Jared Mcissac and Kirill Tyutyayev looking to push their way up a very deep, and ever-building roster chart. So yeah, G.R. and Detroit will be very exciting to watch next season!

  4. Is Kasper confirmed going to GR?
Thought he'd spend another season in Sweden.

  5. I don't see Edvinson starting in GR. He will earn his spot in Training Camp like Raymond. First call up's are Soderblom and Johansson.

  6. I think Johansson will be a red wing next season and Edvinsson will be a griffin next season. Just for development purposes and their respective ages. Albert's older and has the speed of a larkin/vrana. It would be smarter for them to do it that way anyways considering the circumstances and the red winsg recent signings. You have to keep in mind lalonde is defensive minded, meaning transition from defensive zone to neutra zone is very important and to be completely clear I think Johansson is the perfect player for for that step going forward. Watch his highlights. And also don't be surprised when it happens because I know that's what's likely going to happen, like high 99%tile im sure of it amd wings fans will love Johanson. He'll probably be paired with sieder by the end of the year. QUIT SLEEPING ON JOHANSSON
    ,YALL ARE CLOWNS.

  7. Honestly not surprised about Pickard leaving. We haven't had a good goalie in GR since Coreau left, and haven't had anything overly impressive from our goalies in the years since. That being said, I'm excited by what I've heard and am looking forward to seeing Cossa if/when he plays in GR this season.
Depending on how training camp goes in September, I wouldn't be surprised to see Berggren spend some time in Detroit this season, though probably not right away.

  8. Definitely missed listening to you ladies. Just been so busy with life lately haha. Hope you’re both doing well!

    Go Wings!!

  9. I have center ice behind the bench season tickets for the Griffins!
I'm excited to see the Griffin's push for a Calder Cup!!!

  10. Elmer Söderblom looks like he is going to be a superstar! Hope he gets icetime this season. Detroit is starting to look like the good old days with 1/3 of the team being swedish.
