Fire Keefe and Dubas. They both losers never won and can’t win. We need Trotz and another GM. Get rid of Nylander, Holl, Kerfoot, Muzzin, Engevall, Brodie. Get some gritty players who can play hard and even lesser skill but play with heart.
Angry or sad, pick your emotion it's still a negative one. Tired of excuses made for this team. Why do we lose to underdogs but never the other way around? Tampa is the better team but they were slightly off this series, abd beatable. Leafs had their chance game and couldn't close.

If everyone keeps saying "its ok the leafs were against a really good team" They wont succeed anytime soon. To win the cup, or a series you need to beat some of the best teams in the league, we need to start seeing the team isn't good enough, they seemed better, but more changes need to be made before we are able to go far.

Lets also bring up the elephant in the room. Tampa Bay did the 50/50 series, supertight, without having the officials, bend them over and spank them on the ass. Just saying.
Also, funny that in previous years, whistles disappear, this year our league leading powerplay didnt benefit from the parade to the penalty box. I imagine they concentrated on 5v5 and let the PP slip, and boom.. penalty parade.
Otherwise, I agree with your analysis… narrative mostly broken. Not angry at the team just sad and suss at the league.

Enough is enough! Not since the early 2000's has this team had a group of players who knew how to step it up and take responsibility for their actions (both on and off the ice). Spezza, Campbell, Reilly and maybe Kampf were the only players who took this series to heart and didn't already have their island getaways planned with Bieber!
There was poll on Twitter immediately after the lose 100% of ppl at that time said this..what now changes, Shanny, Dubas, Keefe, Other..100% voted Other including me..on the Holl penalty is it yes, is it called between October and now .. not 99% if the time. The officials drove me nuts started with nope guys can't do that and at odd intervals yup guys it's a playoffs have at it..really? Lightning fans every leaf win complained about the refs but when leaf fans do it oh my …what so we do? I totally agree about the PP ….Keefe needs to make game adjustment about PP….so predictable for the Tampa who is going to shoot….Kerfoot/Engval/Holl/Mickey need to move on…becuz toughness/physical /heart will bring us Stanley not skills…3rd and 4th line are ghost after game 1…..
DUmBASs has to go. We have lost in first round since 2017. DUmBASs was assistant manager in 2017 and GM form 2018-present. His style of Euro hockey he wants to work in TO does not work when it comes to the playoffs when all teams elevate the physicality. Were the Leafs physical…yes but they were doing it with players that dont usually play physical. Does it make sense that your 60 goal scorer is leading the team in hits and is now off his game. Bottom line we were the softest team coming into the playoffs. We are so soft that we needed to dress 2 enforcers to think it would make up for lack of team grit. But even then, we didnt play them. It al begins with our Defence corps…….softest in the league.

No, It comes down to your up three games finish it, Your coach and GM are softer than baby shit and your captain shows up two games out of the series that’s the fucking problem. You don’t need to be a sports analyst to figure out what’s going on here. Jason Spezza needs to retire holl needs to go Nelander or one of the four also need to go. It’s been five years of first round exits it’s safe to say we gave it a chance time to try something new.
Hello first off I really like your broadcast, you get to the point, your facts are great and you have a positive and professional style. I started following when you stated you refused to apologues for loosing to the talentless chuckle heads ( Montreal), but I no longer care what the Leaf's do, who they keep or whom is let go. The leaf's are a total loser organization. The whole idea of getting midgets to try and be tough is just stupid and if they get " tough" players , they are so neutered there useless or they are just not played. Everyone knows how to win against leaf's…..try. This new narrative " we are close" is how losers judge results. . This group from management down is an embarrassment. I an not dramatic enough to burn my leaf sweaters on Tic Tok, but I am done with this team no tickets, no sweaters, no key fobs, all just quietly sent to solid landfill. There are no participation trophy's, even in a league where half the teams make the playoffs.. I really do hope you are successful in you endeavors and you get to build the dream career you are working towards.

Great analysis as always. Perhaps on your next episode, you can do a deep dive on what the team lacks or needs, who should go and who should they get through trades or free agent signings mindful of the salary cap.

I think a statistician would look at the data and simply conclude the Leafs lost a coin toss. It's not very satisfying to think that in the end it came down to luck, but it so easily gone the other way that we shouldn't do anything rash.
