It's not bad news! It's within any player's right to test free agency when they get there! Dubois is still under the Jets control until then, and once they make their improvements with coaching and whatnot, that will be more than enough to get Dubois to change his CURRENT plan- key word being CURRENT. Somebody's CURRENT plan can and very likely will change!
This generation of hockey players seems to be very smart when it comes to collective bargaining, this will unfortunately make career franchise players a thing of the past for most teams. At least we get to try new players every few years lol.

I think they should trade him. IF they keep him can he give the jets what they need for the balance of his contract under Bowness.He is repeating the Columbus Blue jackets previous trade. Yes he is a good player but there are other good players out there that would be more than happy to play for wpg.
Jets fans trade Wheeler and sheif… Both signed long term contracts and do great things for the community. Keep Dubois who clearly does not want to be in Winnipeg. Must be Winnipeg logic.
