  1. 5 Things I like about CBJ
    1. The Fan Base, even with some rival teams, they get along with the rival fans showing them where things are at around the stadium
    2. Then Cannon going off for the start of the game, during goals and if they win
    3. John Torterella, granted he can be anal, but he sticks up for his team and doesnt care what other people think
    4. The alternate Jersey with the Cannon on it
    5. There way to adapt, recently the injury bug has hit CBJ, and they are continuing to win with half an AHL squad

  2. Is it bad that I liked the old CBJ logo more than the new one..I think it’s cause I grew up when they had those

  3. You might’ve mentioned this in another video, but why were these videos moved to MorePost2Post?

  4. "leaving some treasure in the toilet"
Alternatively… The toilets are cannons. The cannons go off when the team scores. If you're unlucky, you're unlucky!

  5. I'm a Penguins fan and respect the rivalry. I haven't interacted with Blue Jackets fans, but too make a team work and be successful in a college football town deserves respect.

  6. As a extremely passionate Jackets fan I think we have one of the most passionate fan base in the NHL. For instance I travel 2 and a half hours to go see a Jackets game. The cannon is awesome and hands down the main reason people should go take a trip to Nationwide Arena. By the way keep up the great work Neil and Brett I always watch your videos and I can’t wait to watch your next video’s in the future!

  7. Really appreciate what you said about my team in this video. I am a HUGE Columbus Blue Jackets fan even though I live in Cleveland, Ohio. I didn’t really become the big time Blue Jackets fan that I am until 2016 when the Lake Erie Monsters, now called the Cleveland Monsters, became the AHL affiliate of the Blue Jackets. The Monsters would go on to win the Calder Cup in a sweep over the Hershey Bears and I was at Game 4 when the Monsters won the Cup courtesy of Oliver Bjorkstrand. Ever since then, I’ve become a big time Columbus Blur Jackets fan. I think I need to make more Blue Jackets vidéos on my channel.

  8. Neil — you should absolutely come to a game at NWA some time.

I was in the bathroom doing my number 2 once when the cannon went off (this was the pre-game cannon when the Blue Jackets take the ice).

You can hear the cannon in the bathroom.

You can hear the cannon from anywhere in the building.

You should come and experience it someday and we will do a meetup of however many Jackets fans want to come out.

  9. I’m glad to hear you’ve had nothing but pleasant experiences with the CBJ fan base! We pride ourselves in that. Go Jackets!

  10. I'm not only a Blue Jackets fan, but I'm also a full season ticket holder. The cannon doesn't actually fire. The BOOM! you hear is from a speaker in the ceiling above the scoreboard. The logo is Ohio's state flag wrapped around a star. The flag is shaped like the letter "C" for "Columbus" and the star represents Columbus being Ohio's state capitol. The name 'Blue Jackets" comes from the American Civil War, which was fought from 1861 to 1865. The armies of the south wore grey uniforms, while the armies of the north wore blue uniforms and it just so happens the textile factory that produced those blue uniforms stood right in the present site of Nationwide arena where the Blue Jackets play their home games. When the Jackets first came on the scene, they tried to connect the nickname to an Indian who wore a blue jacket or they tried to make it look like it was some kind of bee. I think they were trying to be politically correct. It took them a few years, but they finally acknowledged the Civil War connection.

  11. Foligno doesn’t just score goals but he scores important goals in the playoffs. He gave the Jackets the first playoff win at home in OT and also started the comeback against TBL game 1 by making it 1-3.

  12. Dougie Mac is the reason the Jackets were so bad for the first half of their existence. He made horrible trades and also made bad decisions in FA and in terms of drafting and keeping talent. He let Ray Whitney walk which to me was just idiotic. And he made some of the worst draft choices. Example is the infamous Kopitar debacle. The scouts literally pleaded with him to draft Kopitar and he instead on draft day spurned his own scouts and drafted Gilbert Brule. Kopitar would have been a franchise altering pick but he instead decided to override the scouts who were all in agreement that Kopitar should be the pick.

  13. 5 things i like about CBJ
    1. Fan Base, they get along with all the other fan bases and that is a huge thing in sports. Whether it come to their biggest rival or their smallest they are always the best
    2. The Cannon, the cannon is a huge part of their team. It isn't just their for the sake of it, its more then just a cannon to the team and the fans
3.The way the adapt to the game, if someone gets hurt they work harder to either win that game for them or to show the player that they wanted to win it for them.
    4. The Jerseys, the have more jerseys then a normal team. They also have a lot of detail on them and just really cool in general.
    5. The coaches, the coaches they have had over the years have always been a great coach for the team. Every team needs a coach like Torts.

  14. 5 things I like about the CBJ
    1. The fan base: we're mostly an agreeable and calm fan base that tries to get along with others, but bar none we are intimidatingly passionate, whether at home on our couches or at Nationwide Stadium.
    2. The Cannon, which just reflects the history of Ohio like the team name. Plus that is one hell of a goal celly.
    3. The "Next Man Up" mentality. We don't give up. We bring someone in from the Cleveland Monsters instead and keep on trucking, or bring our backup goalie in and keep on trucking.
    4. The jerseys. I mean, to the point where I made my own Merzlikens jersey on Animal Crossing New Horizons.
    5. The goalies. What's not to love about Joonas Korpisalo, Elvis Merzlikens, and Matiss Kivlenieks? Bobrovski was great too, not gonna lie, and I wish him well in Florida.

  15. As a Cbj fan my favorites are:
    1. Alternate Jerseys
    2. Cannon
    3. Teams ability to defy all odds
    4. Rick Nash
    5. Arena Atmosphere at games
