@Bruins de Boston

  1. I bet Sweeney was seeing these other teams overpaying. I bet Sweeney wanted a 2nd a 5th and a B prospect. They wanted something high. Watch at the draft especially if he is a 20-20-40 pt player by years end.

  2. I think we will see Lysell on the post season. Great experience and he will learn what level he needs to play at.

  3. Well said, that is exactly how we feel. I think we are definitely contenders. I'm glad you brought up the kid from the giants I was thinking if you didn't mention it I was gonna say it in my comments that they've got some things that they can do in the forward position.GOOD STUFF let's go smack TB around PUNCH EM right in the mouth. Keep up the good reporting. I love it. Go BRUINS 💛 💛🖤🖤

  4. DeBrusk is an anchor on the top line, I’d rather see Steen or Studnicka up there and DeBrusk on the forth line with Foligno, Lazar or Nosek

  5. I assume they didn’t trade for a forward because they figure Fabian is on the verge of being an impact player. Besides that, Haula is not a 2C and the Bruins need a good 2C to get the most out of pasta and especially Hall. The lack of firepower up front will prove costly against these teams in the East.

  6. They should have traded DeBrusk for Rakell in the Lindholm deal and then try to extend once he was with the Bruins, he is very good friends with Lindholm and I think would have re-signed.

  7. Not disappointed. Don't need to over pay. Seems like he (Debrusk) is okay with it for now. Hope he doesn't disapear.

  8. Much improved Defense. The toughness and size cannot be underestimated.
    Cant wait to see Lysell.

  9. Giroux was the only guy who could really change the look of our offense. And we missed out. Is what it is.

    I'm pumped about Lindholm, though. Locking him up, too? Even better. He's a bigger, and slightly better Krug. Scoring will be up, with him out there.

    I call it almost a perfect deadline for the B's. I don't see them winning the Cup, but a competitive squad with heart, is all I ever ask for.

  10. Great recap!! I think that adding Lindholm to our defense is a huge upgrade, especially for our guy Mac. Although it is unfortunate that Don couldn't grab a forward in the deadline, calling up Lysell sounds pretty cool. The whole DeBrusk thing had me confused as first, but I then just moved on from it, lol. Just as long as he can put in the hard work throughout every game going forward, then I will not complain. I'm with you on us being contenders, offense looks good, defense looks solid and the goaltending is great. It will be tough, but hopefully this team can bring Stanley back home.

  11. I still don't think we can beat Florida or Tampa in a 7 game series but I will say I'm more confident confident after the deadline than before it so we'll see, Lindholm is obviously a really good addition and I wanna have hope we can go on a cup run to avenge 2019

  12. been a while i havent put a comment in here, just wanna say keep up the good work, i love your devotion for the bruins, and you know im a true die hard bruins fan, im from montreal, im french canadian, and theres nothing more that i wish to celebrate once and for all my first stanley cup as a bruins fan, we need our revenge against tampa bay sh….. lol,

  13. The Bs time is now. Debrusk, underachieved, asked for a trade, and ends up on the top line. If Sweeney was all in, he could have gotten a top six forward if he moved Lysell. Lysell is 5 10, and weighs a bag of beans. Big difference with the league he's playing in now, versus the NHL.

  14. Their defense wasn't their weakest position. Their goals against, gaa, and expected goals percentage are all very good. Goals for, they're 16th in the league, and 5 on 5 shot percentage is 3rd worst in the league.
