My guess is they find a way to keep all the big guys as a thank you for the 3 cups despite the fact it isn’t good for the future.
Let me know your thoughts on the Penguins off-season, is it the end of are or will Malkin and Letang be back?
I Don't Know. If It Can Be Done, Albeit For 1 More Year, If Doable, I'd Keep This Team Together. I Am Sure That You Will Agree, That, They Were Only A Couple Of Injuries From Taking My Rangers Down (Maybe – Rangers Are Finding Ways To Win These Series – I Wouldn't Be Surprised If They Hoist The Stanley Cup).
Ah, the Pittsburgh Penguins, the team of Sid. They had a really good season , and were doing well in the playoffs, leading the NYR, 3-1, until the season-ending collapse, which coincided with Sid getting injured. Defensively, the Pens were a Top 5 team and the PK was outstanding, 3rd in the NHL –the surprise is that the PP was rather mundane at only 20.2 %, considering the offensive talent of the team. Both RFAs should be qualified, but, Me thinks Kapanen gets dealt before seasons' start. Of the UFAs, oh, boy–well, obviously, the Pens need to hard commit to Letang and Malkin or decide to start the evolution and let them go. Keeping both will cost them dearly. The others may get offers, but, my concern for them is goaltending after Jarry–not likely that De Smith and Domingue both return. Their offseason hinges on what they do with the Vets.
Malkin, Letang will leave. They want to be paid.
What a dilemma for the Pens. If they give Malkin and Letang what they want (knowing they'll regret it later), they'll have little cap space to do much else. They have Rodrigues to sign, Blueger, Dumoulin, and Jarry's deals are up a year from now. Zucker coming off the books should be able to take care of a decent chunk of those raises coming, but still, very tight. Not sure they can afford Rakell, and Kapinan likely gone. How Fleury can fit in remains to be seen. Malkin has nerve.. injured half the time. Letang has nerve… 5 year deal at 35 years of age. If they can only keep one, I suspect it will be Letang. From what I've seen from comments from Pens fans, most seem to pick Letang. It's a no win situation for Burke and Hextall.

You have to try and keep letang the guy plays 25 mins a game I heard Friedman talking last night about Ethan bear from Carolina wanting out and he didn’t get used correctly and was a heathy scratch over in Carolina for all the playoffs possibly he could be an option for pit it’s time for malkin to go he didn’t look good this year looked slow and is so injury prone would rather pay someone else 7-8 m that can play the full season and that can play a more two way game cause Pittsburgh played its best hockey when malkin was out

If they did I would be more than happy to give them my opinion.A lot of jokesters.I was hoping that western Canadian teams could trade with eastern Canadian teams to strengthen up all the teams.Its not working with moving so many players to American teams.I dont know why more people aren't seeing what's going on with the league.Its losing its Canadian fan base
You can keep all three just get rid of any other other contracts in your roster to sign them
Bringing Marc-Andre Fleury back is the answer…..if you're looking to win a popularity contest. But not if you are trying to win hockey games. His effectiveness in front of the net is a thing of the past.
They would need to trade for far more cap space and find cheaper deals tougher players on defense to sign Malkin and Letang..
