1. Well Edmonton would have to give up a ton to get him at a decent price, but imagine a Kane mcdavid Kane line… that is the best first line in the league and it’s not close…

  2. I 100% disagree. I 100% see him going to a cup contender for a year and not resign. Then either go to Buffalo or his other home…….. ya'll already know…. the prodigal return

  3. 👀
    MOCK TRADE
    To Chicago 2023 1st 3rd 2024 2nd 2025 2nd
    Muzzin

Conditional 2024 1st if Kane scores over 100 points and Leafs make it to the ECF

    To Toronto Kane 50%

It's the same thing they got for Debrincat except they get a extra 2nd because Torontos picks aren't as good as Ottawa and Kanes Vaule isn't the same as the much younger Debrincat also Muzzin Makes the salary work and Chicago can flip him for a second somewhere else maybe a 1st if they retain if this isn't enough id also be willing to throw in Matthew Knies which is the equivalent of decent 1st round pick and/or justin Holl so they can flip him for a 2nd+ for extra vaule as a surplus

Muzzin has a 10 team no trade list but they could convince his to waive it by telling him they will trade him to a contender before the season starts for a win win win Scenario

Chicago showed alot of interest in Knies as the most recent trade deadline in a deal that would've involved Flurey

Patrick Kane has also shown alot interest in playing with Auston Matthews at the Olympics and was very disappointed when he wasn't able to play on a line with him

Nylander alone has more trade value then Kane a 26 year old 80 points player for 2 years vs a 35 year old 90 point player for 1 year

  4. Toronto should leave that alone… don’t give up anything for him, his career is almost over

  5. I think it’s feasible for the Leafs to get Kane for 1 season because of the retention but beyond that seems impossible. However that said I don’t believe the Leafs could get too crazy with the trade packages if they know he’s only a rental. A team who can give him a lucrative extension would likely offer more of a trade package knowing he would be sticking around.

  6. I doubt this will happen. Chicago will want Sandin, a prospect, and a first round pick back in a trade.

  7. I can’t believe Toews is unhappy with the rebuild. It’s a business afterall and he should consider waiving if he has the opportunity.

  8. I believe that Chicago more than anything wants draft picks, not prospects, and certainly not pieces that make them better right now. I also believe Kane would want the join Panarin again most i.e. NYR.
I think it will cost 2 first round draft picks and I also believe it's entirely possible that a third team is roped in to take some of the cap hit in exchange for like a 2nd round pick or something.

  9. Patrick Kane should go the Ottawa Senators or New York Rangers to be with Alex DeBrincat or Artemi Panarin. The Toronto Maple Leafs would just be giving up their future to lose in the first round
