We got neutered by hard nosed play and the trap and counter style. Almost by Washington. And definitively by Tampa. We’re not scoring 4 goals a game by implementing this style in the playoffs. It simply doesn’t work. They need to tweak their style. Also, I do not trust this power play. Needs significant adjustments
I think we need to trade at least 2 current players to clear some cap, fill some spots with prospects and go after some true proven winners. Letang, Klingberg, Kessel, Bergeron, Palat, Acciari. Any of those guys.

Panthers should trade Jonathan Huberdeau to Columbus Blue Jackets for Patrik Laine. Both players need a change of scenery. The reason Panthers should get Laine is that both Laine and Barkov were born and grew up in the same town of Tampere, Finland. Both players are good friends and practice together in Finland every offseason. Barkov and Laine together would be incredible because both players are close. Can you imagine first line being Laine, Barkov, Verhaghe?
As for Huberdeau, it is clearly obvious he had a bad attitude in the playoffs. He was very disappointing. Mr. “Who Care’s” is not what this team needs in the locker room. Panthers should trade him now while he has extreme value and 1 year left on a expiring contract. Huberdeau is not worth 10 million a year. I’m sorry. Panthers need to shake up their core a little and Huberdeau is the guy that needs to go.

I say we get rid of Weegar AND let Chiarot walk (his stats are BAD …. bad bad bad)!! We have plenty of d-men that could come in and round out the lineup!! We were actually playing BETTER before the trade deadline and i wonder if we would have played better in playoffs had we stood pat!!! Our PP was certainly better!!!!!! Part of me thinks yes … we may have played better!!!

Love the channel. But you need to incorporate everything this organization has done under Zito into the mix. The canes tossed their top goalie prospect into the mix, and he played well. And from all indications our boy Gerasimyuk is waay better. Solid backup to Knighter, the Bob gone rumors seem to be legit
For the record. I stopped watching this video after Stu laughed off the Bob trade. Cause it's narrow minded and doesn't consider how good of a GM Zito is. When 10 godamned websites are reporting that Zito is going hard to dump Bob, and the preeminent insider mentions same on his podcast. Laughing it off is irresponsible and does a real disservice to the folks supporting the channel.
