Oh I absolutely will start collecting now, it was one of my favorite looks growing up and I could not be happier to see it back, not even as a one/two game jersey but a full on third! I can't wait to see it in action, in addition to the second goathead we're likely getting this year for the RR
Sabres ownership is weird. They finally transitioned back to the style fans have begged for since it was abandoned, and immediately re-incarnate the Lindy-Goat-Ruff jersey.

I may or may not get a NEW Royal blue home jersey for the 22-23 season but—IF I do I think I’m gonna have the team store stitch some frontal numbers on a blank authentic for me…I was always a fan of those distinctive chest digits, contrary to popular opinion! 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

This modernized version of the logo is awesome! As an 80's-90's kid I loved it when it came but this is way better. Although I like the black-grey-red colors I think it looks awesome in blue and yellow as well.
I'm still not sure why Buffalo didn't put the goathead as the primary last Reverse Retro. It feels overkill having 2 different goathead jerseys in one season. I almost rather see them use their current logo in red black and silver for the reverse retro instead.
Out here on the left coast, this WAS an extremely popular jersey back in the day… it didn't matter where or when I played hockey at one of our many local multi-rink facilities, there was always at least one team wearing this uniform.
