This game showed the Rangers stink defensively. If Igor isn't on his game like tonight it can get ugly. Igor is the main reason we are a contender. He just had a bad night. It happens.
Lets be real Rangers have some of the worst defense in the league. What they're doing to Igor is exactly what they did to Lundqvist. Guy better smarten up and get out of NY when he gets the chance.
The rangerss stilll have no identity, one game they fore check next game they dont hit anyone and let them gain the blue line, and control the game, and whats sad is durry should be stepping on these guys and getting the entire team hitting and establishing work down low, and no offense rushs, and crappie passing, this is not a playoff capable team regardless of there record.
McKegg, Hunt, Gauthier, and Nemeth are garbage. Chytil, Kravtsov, Lundkvist, Jones, Hajek and Georgiev should be trade bait. The Rangers need a 3rd Line Center and a mean, heavy hitting defenseman at minimum. If a trade isn't made, they might make it out of the 1st Round if Igor is hot. That's as far as they go this season.

Expected more boost from the Rangers especially after getting smacked around by Minnesota the other night. Drury needs to make trades and fast.
