  1. Yes, bcoz trading a one dimensional forward for another one dimensional forward is smart hockey when you need depth and defence and goaltending to win in the playoffs. 🙄 🤦‍♂️ how do you have a channel with this kinda smarts?

  2. Last year maybe a career year for Miller Leafs better to go younger , so are Canucks , be different if Canucks were a contender and had more cap room .

  3. Nylander for miller?? What a joke. Maybe nylander and a first round and a second round with some salary relief.

  4. There are going to be several very good hockey teams, particularly in the east who are going to be thinking, "maybe we should have acquired JTM". I personally believe JTM would have been the difference for TO against TBL. Subtract John Tavares add JTM and TO wins that series. JTM is a highly skilled player who can grind it out with the best of them. Exactly the kind of player who excels in the playoffs.

  5. Jt miller is canucks best player, they were also in a playoff race till the last week of the regular season! So how are the leafs suppose to land him?? The leafs had more than one player on thier roster to score that go ahead goal or score to send it into overtime, they just couldnt do it!! Jt miller wouldnt of made a difference! My opinion is keffe was out coached once again! Last year he was out coached by ducharme who was fired the very next season, if i was keffe i would be imbarrased!! Playing holl and sitting lilejren was just plain dumb!

  6. Why on the world would they trade for him when they can just sign him when he becomes free? Plus they need defense not offense but they are a capped team plus there goalie is free this year they have a lot of issues JT wouldn’t solve any of them

  7. jt miller didnt want to come to toronto according to miller himself and is one of the reason bruce went there

  8. I think every team that lost in the first round, or that may be behind in their current second round series is second guessing themselves. Although the asking price is high, if he's the reason you get to the Stanley Cup final, then every team makes that deal. History shows that guys that made an impact at the TDL can be counted on one hand. That said, teams that are legit contenders should be lining up to make a deal at the draft.

  9. YEAH LGL hope they don’t get Miller tho he cost to much

  10. There’s going to be not 1 or 2 but a handful of teams interested, and those teams that disappointed in the playoffs in an attempt to appease their angry fans will PAY THROUGH TUE NOSE for JT Miller.

  11. I wonder if the Canucks have missed the boat to get maximum value for J.T. Miller. I know the talk about how there would be 31 teams interested in the off season, but realistically, the teams that want or can be trade partners will be limited or the same (like, do you see the Coyotes trying to acquire Miller just because it is the off season), and I do not think the Canucks gain leverage on those same teams that would have been interested in Miller at the deadline.

  12. All these Nylander for Miller offers makes no sense. Why trade a top 6 forward for a top 6 forward…at the deadline!? The Leafs would have offered futures only. A 1st, 2nd, 3rd and Kerfoot probably would've got Miller. As a Canuck fan that's about fair market value honestly. Two 1st rounders instead of that 2nd would for sure get Miller. Alvin be like take him! Takeeee him!
