Williams has a momentum control issue. That’s the reason he’s getting so many penalties. He gets his momentum going and his center of gravity gets outside of his feet and it gets him beat by DTs/DEs and he holds because of that.

I have been saying this for a long time Connor William s has never been strong enough to play guard. Every team put it's best D lineman over him every game. He is not being targeted he is always holding and missing blocks. The hope is to get stronger in the middle of the line especially for short yardage
