What about Nate Schmidt to NJ for Damon Severson? I think the Jets need another RD. We've got too many LDs.
Another question: what do you think of packaging Vessalainen in with one of our guys on an expiring contract? It may get us a better return, especially if we're looking for a solid prospect or a guy with term. I think a lot of us Jets fans wouldn't blink an eye at Vessalainen being traded.
Further to yesterday's comment regarding how the team plays differently in front of #1 versus #37. If everyone recalls…the same thing happened with Ondřej Pavelec and Michael Hutchinson. Pav was hung out to dry so many times with the team playing a looser brand. With Hutch…the team seemed to play tighter and more 'honest' in front of him. They seemed to lose confidence in Pav…and gain it with Hutch. Not really apples and oranges…a lot of similar comparisons, though. But it's all relative. Just my opinion.
