  1. Marchand is one of the best LW in the league. People who say otherwise are just haters because it's Marchand.

  2. Should Rask have his number retired? always enjoy hearing both sides lol. IMO i think one day it will be.

  3. Big Bruins fan here, originally from southern New England living in Florida now. I don't see them being a deep playoff team again for at least the next five years. The defense is a huge gaping hole of a weakness and most of the defensive players could just as easily end up on AHL rosters and most people wouldn't bat an eye. By the time that is situated, Bergeron, Marchand, any conversation of Krejci as well as players like Hall and Coyle will most likely also be gone.

  4. The 2010 loss against Philly really hurt but it was easy to forget after sweeping Philly and winning the Cup in 2011. The thing that nobody talks about though is that Krejci broke his wrist on a huge Richards hit in game 3 and Simon Gagne came back for Philly in game 4 and tore it up with 4 goals & 1 assists through games 4-7. Boston losing Krejci and Philly gaining Gagne was a huge swing that often gets forgotten about.

  5. Fighting until a game 7 and getting to the Stanley Cup, even if you lose, is a lot better than getting swept and never even getting to a cup
    Half full/half empty

    I hope Bergeron stays

  6. I remember Normand Leville's rookie year and he was my favorite Bruin. Fast, talented small forward and a little sparkplug. The way his career ended was an absolute shame. Watch the video when he came out to the ceremony of the closing of the Garden. It's still my favorite sports moment….You'll cry….

  7. There should have been an investigation into why the Bruins drafted Ryabgikov in the first round! I watched him play in training camp that year and he wouldn't have made most high school teams in the Boston area.Hearing his name still pains me to this day.

  8. Brandon Saad and Patrick Kane have scored "superman goals" like that, but they actually shot the puck in that position, they didn't just jump after scoring.
    Just sayin…

  9. I would love to see some players that you have listed during these videos as "Under 100 games" make to to or over that mark. Not to prove you wrong, but for their careers.

  10. Always a good chuckle when you see a list like this and you're remembered Bourque (a D-man) leads a franchise like Boston in points.

  11. TD Garden used to be called Fleet Center when it first opened. The spoked B is a classic logo.

  12. As an Avs fan the Bourque thing was weird from our end too. There was the leadership group with Sakic et al. Players drafted and developed by the team with the string of calder finalists in the late 90s. And in comes Bourque who essentially took over the captaincy and over-shadowed the rest of the team in a way Roy and Blake never did. It was a moment, but it has never sat well with me. He wasn't a slouch at all, but it was just kinda weird.

  13. I use to hate Boston as a habs fan.. then I realized people hate greatness! The NHL would be quite lame without Boston and their fans! 🙂

  14. Well the all-time Bruins arguably have the best group of defensemen. Orr, Shore, and Bourque all make my all-time NHL team.

  15. The Bruins are my favorite team I just wish they would have won more cups next season I bet you they will I hope let's go bruins

  16. Leveille was a dynamic skater with a great drive to the net. He would have been a player in the mold of Cournoyer, not to suggest for a moment he would have put up those kind of numbers or been a Hall of Famer. Normand was short but had a compact frame and was not afraid to stick his nose in the tough areas.

  17. Help me out here Shannon, that 70-71 season, all those points records by the Boston guys……
Who won the Cup that year ?
    😉

  18. Those epic Montreal vs Boston playoff games in the old Boston garden were fun to watch. Boston definitely had an advantage at home due to the smaller ice.

  19. Boston has been my favourite team since getting into hockey a couple of years ago. Thanks for doing this, it was a really interesting insight into the history of the team.

  20. I confess I didn't watch the whole video. This photo is such bull spit.he did his belly flop seconds after he knew he scored.i wish he did what the story has become. Makes for a better story. The only guy i ever saw who scored in mid air was BOSSY.

  21. History of dirty players, coaches and fans. Ray Bourque left Boston to win a cup. That is all.

  22. Apparently Léveillé's aneurysm wasn't caused by an on-ice injury as stated by doctors. Could be wrong but that's what I saw after looking him up.

  23. The Orr comment kinda threw me off. It was a little more than Bruins knowing his knees were gone. I know, your aware of the scandal that ensued. Most likely have done a video on it. So i'll go about my day.

  24. Took me grandfather to the regular season finale this year for the Bruins and finally snapped my losing streak at live games. Hadn't seen a win in the Garden since Byron Dafoe 😂
