I went to this game, and I swear I think this might be my favorite ranger game i’ve ever been to, and it’s preseason! it definitely didn’t feel like it was preseason! the constant intensity of the back and forth scoring between both teams was great in itself, but the fact that we not only finally broke the shutout streak the islanders had on us, but won the game was an incredible feeling to witness live. plus the islanders had their top guys playing and we didn’t, so I was fully expecting to lose. so many things went into making this an extremely fun night!
And thus ends the preseason. Now it gets real. I looked it up and the Rangers aren't even supposed to make the playoffs. So the way I see it, we are playing with house money
So much for Sororkin's scoreless streak hey?? Chara and Parise looked like statues out there, dragging their 16 yrs of experience each, like heavy baggage on the ice. Those moves will backfire on Lou. Rangers skated by Chara like he was a lighthouse on their way to the goalie. Sorokin came back down to earth, i didn't see him make one save that saved a goal, easy saves, few shots, Rangers scored on 25 % of their SOG. So nice to see the swagger knocked right out of the Isles by a bunch of kids. Rangers even rested their best players!

Refs missed calls (or knee-jerked and didn't see dives), turned the game into an open ice affair. Won't see that in the regular season.
Rags were fast and had lots of youth, Isles puck watched after halfway through the first. We need to pull big Z and put Salo in. I think the 4th line did not have energy without Martin
Read the ranger fan boy comments first then watched the highlights, you guys are dumb af if you think this loss was on anyone but our goalie lol. If Sorokin played just ok we would've won this no question…
